Nice but pricy
I'm an industrial electrician. These cutters are a bit pricey but I guess if your looking for a good name brand pair of cutters. They're as nice as can be expected. They cut smooth with 500's but I don't know that I would go much thicker with this set of cutters. I use these a lot for multiconductor cables such as 16 pair #16 shielded which these cut through with little resistance. They are compact for a small hand held set of cable cutters and perfect for my line of work. Well built as well. I don't use these on an everyday basis but I have had them over a year and other than a cable with 120 #14 wires in it, it has cut every cable I've asked it to cut. That was just to much capacity for these cutters. I am very pleased with these cutters, they're still just a little on the pricy side.
