Best speakers I have installed
I installed these into a 2006 Mazda MX-5 in replacement of the stock Bose speakers. They were a direct replacement(same size for the RX-8 with the Bose system). I paired these to an Alpine PDX amp, they sound amazing. The surprised me when the speakers did not come with an outboard crossover, but the crossover is built onto each speaker. This made installation a BREEZE! Pros: -8" woofer gives much better lows than any 6.5" i have heard(including other focal, high end JL Audio, and infinity) -Crossover built onto the drivers, no need to mount an outboard -Comes with 2 different types of tweeter mounts Cons: -If you don't have a Bose system with 8" drivers from factory, might be hard to mount.

Works in a Cayman with some modding
These speakers were an amazing upgrade from the worn out stock SPP setup in my 2009 Porsche Cayman. The 987 Cayman doors don't have quite enough room for these speakers and require some modification to make it work, but once you do, the sound is outstanding and worth it.

Like them so far
Just installed these in a '99 miata. Woofers are a direct fit in the doors and having built in crossover makes installation a breeze. Haven't gotten to really test them out yet, but so far really like them. For my purposes I can say that I do not need a subwoofer with these and their bass is more than adequate.

Fits perfectly in a NC MX-5 Miata's Bose system.
Absolutely excellent, fits perfectly in a NC MX-5 Miata's Bose system. The 8 inch speakers fit in all the existing screw holes, a dremel tool was required to remove two plastic tabs in the mazda, but the fit was great. Photo shows how I MODIFIED and cut out the existing bose miata tweeter housing to glue in the new focal tweeters for a near OEM fitment. The tweeters fit perfectly glued in the old tweeter's housing after dremeling out the bose drivers. The stock bose amp is actually driving these just fine despite the 4Ohm/1Ohm discrepancy, but I will be replacing the amp regardless. The bass is great and the tweeter clarity perfect.

fake focal speakers
These were fake and the not real ones wasted my time also installing them. Don't buy them I know the price was too good to be true. Dont get scam.

The woofers were easy replacements screwed right into place
Dropped these into a 2007 NC Miata. The woofers were easy replacements screwed right into place. The tweeters were FAR more difficult. Note: THE TWEETERS ARE NOT DROP IN REPLACEMENTS. You WILL need to do some customization to make them work out. Enjoy!

High quality sound
Installed in a full time convertible miata. Can still hear music on highway and it sounds like a mini concert in my car. Couldn't be happier
