Prophet and Tools Fresh and Cool Scented Ocean 21 EDT Aftershave Beard Oil FOR MEN - Soothes Skin, Softens Hairs, Shine Booster, Thicker & Fuller Beard Growth - Vegan and Nuts-Free

It has been almost 2 weeks since I have received my first order of prophet Ocean 21, and I must say I am truly impressed. I am 21 years old and have only ever been able grow hair from ear-to-ear ( undergrowth) never a mustache or goatee. Everyday I use a little bit of this oil and another product called The Beard brush and within 12 days my mustache and goatee are already coming in. I don't think this oil is advertised as a beard growth oil, but I think it should be. I have wanted a full beard for so long and so excited that this product has helped me already. It has a wonderful smell to it. It is not greasy. Helps with the itchiness I normally experience. And it leaves my beard soft and thicker than it has ever been. still working on growing it out but I'm sure within the next month or so I will have a full beard.

Smells great... does not seem to do anything, might even dry out my mustache and goatee. I cannot compare to any other oils since this was the first one I've tried, but as far as helping "tame" my facial hair, it does not seem to do anything (except smell good). Could be my "old man" hair - kinda stiff and definitely has a mind of its own. Going to try other products including light mustache wax to see if I can train the hairs.

I say that because the hype marketing . and use of clearly faked reviews would make you question this product. This is a pretty good, very well scented beard conditioner. It is not a magic growth potion that will give your baby face a dense lumberjack beard! It is not a babe magnet! It is NOT alcohol and water free (and that ain't bad--read on!). Now that you know what it is NOT, here's what it is: The best thing about Ocean 21 is the scent. It is clean, modern, a bit steely and not at all woodsy, fruity or floral. I have used many beard oils and balms. Most rely on a mix of wood scents (cedar and sandalwood, mostly), citrus notes and some floral. It can get tiring. And some beard oils are very heavily scented which many men don't like. Ocean 21 "washes away" those scents with a clean aquatic-style, not at all heavy scent. The scent is similar to Davidoff Cool Water or the M.A.C. oceanic scents. Also, again in contrast to many other Beard balms, this one contains denatured alcohol and water (ingredients nos. one and three). This makes it lighter on your face, and absorbent. It does evaporate quicker and provides less Beard control and shine. I use it alternating with other products when I want a lighter degree of conditioning. It does not appear to use fruit or nut oils. (Note that many of the previous reviews appear to be for completely different products or to be fake. This product has water and denatured alcohol in it, and two common carrier oils.)

The scent is very faint. Its not what i expected. It smells like baby powder and chamomile.

Over the last couple of years my beard has started to turn gray in areas and my gray hair is much more coarse than the rest of my beard. Prophet and Tools beard oil really helps soften the feel of my beard and the scent is great, I was a little worried that it was going to be too fragrant but it has a nice subtle sent to it. My wife is a fan of the scent which is never a bad thing ;) The fact that this product is labeled as Vegan was a huge selling point to me as well, companies that are aware of the environmental impact that we have on our planet are companies that I will support 100%

This was my fist time purchasing a Beard Oil product...but I got recommendations from two friends that use Prophet products. So I bought the Ocean 21 oil and I have enjoyed it very much so far! It shines the beard up and has a nice smell to it. If this is your first beard oil product you are looking at...you can't go wrong with purchasing it!

The Ocean 21 has a great smell to it. It's easy to apply and soothes skin around and underneath my facial hair. While I'll go ahead and say my beard isn't growing into some insane mane (no such claim was made by Prophet), it is softer and looks more nourished. Better product than what you'd find in stores and at price similar or better.

I bought this for my husband b/c the regular Prophet beard oil worked great but was interested in the same product but with a scent so we choose this scent. It smelled nice when we got it but his beard became irritated when he used it. We think it might have been the alcohol used in the product. So, we went back to using the unscented Prophet beard oil b/c that definitely worked. It’s just too bad the scented version didn’t achieve the same results.
