Great addition to an iced coffee!
Oh, the amount of money I have wasted on protein powders I won't drink...until this one. This one impressed me. Every morning I make an "brown sugar iced shaken espresso" in a mason jar. It's my weakness, and I'll never give it up. So I've been trying to add protein to it, to attempt to balance out the unnecessary daily calories the coffee provides. And I've yet to find one that doesnt totally ruin my coffee, until this one.So I just added the two scoops of this to my normal morning coffee recipe, and shook the jar as I normally do. It broke down just as quickly as the brown sugar did. And the flavor is surprisingly mild compared to other powders I've tried.I caught myself bracing for the "nasty flavor" impact on my very first drink, and I was SO pleasantly surprised that it wasn't bad at all. It wasn't even JUST tolerable. My coffee was still GOOD. Add in the fact that it's clean ingredient- no weird chemical or artificial sweetners or flavors is great.Granted, my coffee does have brown sugar in it, and I don't know what the powder would taste like just mixed with water (and I don't plan to find out.)But it's exactly what I was looking for-a coffee addition that has some nutritional benefits, and doesn't ruin my coffee.I don't typically leave many reviews, but I'm truly pleased with this protein. And I already have a second bag in my cart. 😊

Spent good money for poor quality products!!
I have been searching for a protein powder that I can have with the extreme restrictions in my diet. I thought this was going to work, and I was thrilled that it came in coffee flavor. It is such a huge disappointment as it tastes awful and in no way resembles anything close to coffee flavor. I should have gotten vanilla. I need the protein however am highly disappointed in this product!!

IT WAS.... Great stuff for the price.
UPDATED: I guess when i first bought this iced coffee flavor GF whey protein isolate, it was at an introductory price. Now, at almost double that price, its comparable to any other when protein isolate in price, but not a great value as before. It's actually more expensive than the Opportuniteas unflavored and has less protein per serving. I really like it, highly recommend it, just wish they had it priced better. 5 star review went to 4 after the huge price increase.Original Review:I've tried lots of grass fed whey proteins on amazon. This isolate is easy to digest, and i really like the Opportuniteas unflavored Grass Fed Whey Protein above all i've tried for the price. This coffee flavor is great, and I like mixing it with the unflavored. They are not specific about what is in the "coffee extract". This whey protein has 3g of carbs per serving, and the unflavored has 1g of carbs. I don't seem to notice a difference but interesting. The Opportuniteas Unflavored is <1% Lecithin and has 27g protein , and the Opportuniteas Coffee lists Sunflower Lecithin as last ingredient and has 24g of protein (per serving).Coffee version is less expensive. Also, it is caffeinated if that is a concern for you. I really like it.The scoop i received with the Coffee flavored version is much smaller than the unflavored scoop, yet serving size is the same. Not sure what to make of that.

Flavor, Easily dissolves
I don't usually post reviews, but I felt that this product was deserving of praise. Ordinarily, I would want something sweet but since the coffee flavor was higher in protein than the other selections, I figured I could add sugar if it really needed it. I've used this product in about 12oz whole mild and found this to be a very nice flavor and have not been the least bit tempted to add sugar; I've yet to try it in water. I also found this product to dissolve easily with vigorous stirring using only a spoon. I was also attracted to this product based on advertised testing, return policy, higher protein percentage and source - no hormones/antibiotics.

Natural sugar
This is very good , this product uses natural sugar! Not Stevia, Stevia has an aftertaste and I have problems if I use products that have Stevia in it! very difficult to find a products that do not use Stevia and this one uses natural sugar ! excellent!

Holy "Cow". Can't get over the taste
While on the brink of running out of my current (and very tasty) pea protein, I wanted to shake things up a bit and go back to a whey isolate. Listing a small and clean number of ingredients I opted for this product. No artificial stuff combined with Colombian coffee sounded perfect. Unfortunately, I was less than impressed. After reading other reviews, and seeing their online photos, I knew it was a small bag. So based on cost per ounce I was really hoping to enjoy it. There was no pleasant scent when I opened it. Not a big deal though I was hoping for a nice coffee aroma.I blended it with my usual added ingredients: banana, half water/half oat milk, a dash of cinnamon, a splash of vanilla extract, and plenty of ice. When unscrewing the blender top product poured out unexpectedly. The contents had expanded considerably. Cleaned up the mess and still anxious to get my first taste. Ugh. Awful first impression, bland, sort of chalky, weird after-taste, almost difficult to swallow. Took me a while to down the whole thing-- I may have actually drank it while not breathing to neutralize the taste.Wish that had been the end of it. After about five minutes the "elixir" wanted to leave my system. I felt like the guy in Alien. Took a while before the heartburn-type phenomenon stopped. That's the last sip of that for me. Not sure what to do now with a full bag since reasons for a return don't include "inducing stomach ache".Thirty bucks down the drain. Maybe I'll use it as bait to kill Alien. "This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off."

Good but,
I was so extra to try this product but when it arrived, in an Amazon bag with other items I ordered, the bag was punctured so everything I ordered was throughly coated in protein powder. Another item I ordered the package was opened and an item was missing-that’s beside the point but leads me to believe my items were tampered with at the facility it was sent from. I reached out to Amazon customer service who was amazing and refunded me and allowed me to keep what was left of the item. Now I was super skeptical to try this as it quite obviously was not in good condition, however I was so excited to try it, I did. I ended up adding some instant coffee to it and a little more sweetener and it’s really really good! Blends up well with one of those frother things, no clumps and tastes great after adding in more coffee and sweetness. I will definitely be re ordering, hoping for a better experience with the shipping.
