Alternative Bone Builder
When diagnosed as having osteoporsis, I was told to take calcium supplements. However, standard calcium tablets are composed of rocks or shells, both being foreign and detrimental to the body. This bone meal supplement is recommended by our chiropractor as being a natural supplement that actually builds up a person's bones. The wafers are easy to chew and swallow, and the taste is okay after one gets accustomed to it. :) The price is comparable to any quality supplement and much cheaper than other alternative supplements for calcium deficiencies.

Easy way to get your calcium
My chiropractor recommended Calcifood to help with my decreasing bone density. It took me a while to get used to the cardboard taste, but once I realized I should let it dissolve in a mouthful of any kind of flavored drink, it's not an issue. Now I take 2 a day and am confident I'm taking care of my bone health with a quality product.

Questionable taste
Hopefully they will help but I am not overly impressed with the taste. My chiropractor suggested that I take them.

Excellent and Unique Calcium Product
I have taken quite a few Standard Process supplements over the years, but this is one of my top favorites. It contains just a few ingredients, and to my knowledge this particular supplement's formula has not been changed since the days of SP's founder, Royal Lee--a plus IMO. It is, as many have mentioned, pleasant to take, and within just a few days I can see the difference in the strength of my nails--which leads me to believe that my bones and teeth are benefitting also. It is not made with 'rock' type mineral calcium, nor with synthetic materials. I'm glad it's available!
