Works Well, But Be Patient for Results
This product works. My flower bed was heavily infested with nutsedge, so I applied the first treatment about four weeks ago. The nutsedge remained green for nearly three weeks afterward, which made me wonder if it was working, but after about a month it finally started turning yellow. I plan to apply one more treatment in about a week to finish the job. So far, the results are encouraging—just be patient, as it may take some time to see visible effects.

It's very slow, but it seems to be working
Most of the nutgrass is dead (a month later) after just one application. And it did not hurt the bluegrass and fescue mix lawn grass. It took a full 2 weeks before I saw any change. There's one small area where the nutgrass was 2 feet tall and blooming that I think is going to need a second dose to totally kill it, but I'm not sure. It's still alive but looks like it's dying. Since I still have almost a half gallon of the mixed spray, I might as well spray that big stuff again because the mix probably won't last until next spring. I bought the 2-pack, but it looks like just one packet would have been enough. 👍

Nutsedge in my yard are scared
If you have nutsedge like I did, this is the killer. The only solution to removing the pesky weed permanently. It works just as advertised. Perfect.

Works, but slowly.
Each packet makes 1 gallon and should be used in its entirety, not stored in a sprayer. It seems to be working, although slower than I’d like. The attachment shows nutsedge yellowing. The first application was about two weeks ago and the second application was about a week ago.

“Not today, Nutsedge. Not today.”
Ah, the Atticus Empero Q-Pak Nutsedge Killer—the superhero your lawn never knew it needed. If weeds were tiny villains plotting world domination, this stuff is basically the caffeine-charged assassin that shows up and says, “Not today, Nutsedge. Not today.” Spraying it is oddly satisfying. There’s something primal about misting the enemy while wearing gloves and pretending you’re in a high-stakes action movie… except the soundtrack is your neighbor mowing their lawn and your dog barking at a leaf. Effectiveness? Instant gratification, lawn-style. One week in, and those pesky spikes of doom are curling up like they just got served a cease-and-desist letter. You’ll start feeling like a wizard, wand (sprayer) in hand, banishing green intruders with magical efficiency. Downside: you will talk to your plants differently now. “Yes, grow… just not you, Nutsedge. You, you’re on notice.” Final verdict: 5/5 stars — Kills weeds, boosts ego, and turns your backyard into a drama-free zone. Your lawn will never forget you… but the weeds sure will. 🌱💀

Will kill yellow nutsedge as it claims.
Sprayed 1/2 gal, had to divide one pack in half, not hard to do. Spot treated my yard in Fl and in two weeks I have a good kill or dying. Will spray the other half gal to get the ones I missed or a couple that don’t look dead enough. First time using this product and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Doesn't work as well as I expected.
I have some kind of sedge all over my yard. Thicker in some areas over others but definitely spreading everywhere. Seems to love warm weather and tolerates drought very well. Our weather has been more warm than cold this year and because of this weeds and sedge got early start. But so did I. I sprayed this stuff about a month ago when I first saw them coming up. It did seem to kill them but apparently it doesn't kill or stop others from coming up. And I think you can only apply this 2x a year. I'm still facing several months of these things still coming up so this really seems like a season long effort, but I only can put down one more application. This stuff grows so well, so much better than grass, so heat, drought, disease and bug tolerant, maybe I should just use it for my lawn!
