Great books!
Great supplementary books for homeschool education. They donโt actually teach the course- thatโs up to you. But theyโre fun and engaging and a great supplement to your program. My son loves these and they have stickers and fun exercises, too! Get one and see for yourself.

Challenging and rewarding
Being a covid year, my 8 and 10 year old grandkids didnt have the opportunity to finish the school year, so I bought these books for them to do during the summer. We found them to be challenging and difficult, requiring a great deal of instructional support and encouragement for them to get through the levels. They are NOT aligned with common core standards at all. That being said, the educational value is great- it keeps them thinking and problem solving, and gives me just what I need to pull them away from video games. They love the idea of earning stickers to put on the charts, however it would be more satisfying if the stickers were bigger and more colorful. We started on August 1st- there's no way they'll finish the books before school starts. However I feel that doing as much as we can will give them a considerable head start. I will most likely order them again next year.

Good variety of activities
I love these books! I get them for all my kids for their summer break. There is a lot of variety in the worksheets and is great for them to do a little each day, just to stay on track and review topics and skills over the summer. Love them.

Great summer workbook to keep skills sharp!
My daughter just finished the first week, and weโre really impressed so far! It has a nice, thorough mix of subjects: math, reading comprehension, social studies, and more. Itโs laid out in a way that feels doable and not overwhelming, which is perfect for summer. She actually looks forward to doing a page or two each day (with a little encouragement ๐), and I love knowing sheโs keeping her brain active before 3rd grade starts. Definitely a great tool for summer learning!

Nicely organized with a variety of topics to review!
My son is headed to third grade next year, and someone recommended this book. I love it! It has a variety of topics and skills such as short/long vowels, reading maps, and apostrophes. It includes a sticker chart with goals of finishing levels, and because the topics are so varied, it keeps my sonโs attention.

Fun and motivating
My daughter did not want to stop working in this book, she loves it. She finally, after finishing 2nd grade actually enjoys more academic activities but does get frustrated if she doesn't know what to do, so I needed something motivating for her. So far the reading is a bit challenging, but the math is a little too easy. It doesn't really matter as long as she is practicing a variety of skills. The sticker map is definitely motivating for her. I definitely recommend this workbook, I may buy more from this company, or try the surrounding grade levels

Lots of reading which is good
Lots of reading and heavy on Western / North American characters and stories if your child is not famiiat (ex: raised in Europe) then may need to explain some characters to keep child engaged

Exciting for kids. They also gameify the process, so it hooks them into the material.
