Magpul DAKA Pouch Zippered Tactical Range Tool and Gear Bag

This is a cool product. I've always looked at these and contemplated on getting one at some point or another. So I finally pulled the trigger and went with the large pouch. The material used feels very good quality. It does feel a bit thin, but rugged all at the same time. I mainly bought this for the glove box in my truck for the essentials, and the large fits just about right in the glove box, a medium would have worked a bit better, but I don't regret going with the large model. For a document holder it works really well. I like the texture of the material, the zipper is pretty decent and has a generous length of draw string. I really can't seem to find anything negative about it for the purpose I'm using it for, so I will definitely be picking up more of these in the future.

I liked this pouch so much I bought a second. It is completely waterproof and I have come to trust it completely to keep my valuables safe when kayaking and boating. Before I purchased one of these pouches, I lost a $650 smart key for my car when it received a heavy splash of sea water while out on my boat. Not only did I have to pay $650 to replace the key, I couldn't even unlock my car or get home when I returned to the dock--what a mess! I decided an ounce of prevention was in order and I ordered my first of these pouches. I now keep my car key, my cell phone and my wallet in them and the peace of mind is priceless. My pouches have gotten wet and even fallen in the water, but I have never had water enter through the zipper. These pouches are made with an extremely heavy duty vinyl and an equally substantial waterproof zipper. Superb quality and excellent value. Don't hesitate, they are so worth it.

Very durable case water proof. Good weight for durability solid color. Zipper makes it easy to open and close. I use this for change for the laundry mat.

Outstanding product by Magpul. I have quite a few of these pouches in small, medium and large. They are pricey for what they are but you will find all kinds of uses for them once you have them and they are made very well. I use some of them for small first aid kits in my vehicles, to put the items that can leak or melt in my carry on, checked luggage or overnight bag (deodorant, cologne, hair products, shaving products, lotions and..…). I had them sent to my office. I opened them up and showed some of the women in the office. They all liked them because they were "cute" and all immediately thought the small would be great to carry make up in their bags so it did not spill and stain their expensive bags or get on any items in the bag.

These pouches are great I use them for document storage for all my vehicles and other documents while traveling. Durable and weather resistant. I love them. Note: of the last three I ordered one had a bad bottom seam. It looked like the machine didn't finish sealing it and this wasn't caught in quality control. I have dozens of varying sizes and colors and this was the only instance of this problem. Still usable, not weather resistant of course.

And they work, and work well, each and every time. Pros: - Ultra durable and sturdy; the construction is top notch. - Varying sizes allow for a multitude of items to fit inside. - Nearly waterproof. You’ll never have to worry about these in the rain. Cons: - Stickiness of the material sometimes makes it difficult to pull these out of a tightly-packed bag. - Length of zipper is narrower than width of the bag, slightly limiting the full breadth of the pouch’s size. - Not ideal for protecting delicate items.

I use it for organizing extra gear in my bag during my Tenkara fly fishing trips. Just one of many DAKA pouches in my household. Love these things.

Magpul did it right when they made this pouch. PROS: 1. The material will make you feel like a rich person....no really! It makes all other money envelopes seem so cheap. It is soft, flexible, and strong all at one time. 2. It holds a good amount of cash comfortably. I wish we could afford the luxury of several buying more of these for use in our offices. They make you want to stay organized because they are so nice to touch and look so sleek! 3. The look of this product is unbeatable. Remember those ugly, bright blue money envelopes your business used (and maybe is STILL USING!)? Yeah, this pouch is the new and waaaay improved version of those. Money looks good going into this pouch, and it is so distinctly different in the way it is made, that you will find yourself excited about getting to use it. CONS: 1. The product is worth the price. However, it is on the pricey side so our family only has one. If they were a bit more affordable (because remember, at it's core, it is just a pouch with a zipper), we would buy more in a heartbeat. OVERALL: Buy one. You'll see what the hype is all about!

J'ai acheté le modèle M, mais il n'est pas du tout étanche. J'avais déjà acheté ce modèle il y a quelques années et j'en étais très satisfait : aucune humidité à l'intérieur, même après 20 min d'immersion complète. J'ai donc racheté ce produit les yeux fermés, pour me rendre compte qu'au premier passage sous l'eau, il ne l'est absolument pas. L'eau s'infiltre tout simplement par la fermeture éclair et noie le contenu. J'ai fait le test deux fois pour être sûr que ce n'était pas dû à une fermeture incomplète, avec le même résultat. Heureusement que je l'ai testé avant d'y mettre mes documents.

Da dies nicht mein erster Artikel von Magpul ist, hatte ich schon eine Ahnung von der hohen Qualität. Die Tasche überzeugt mit der soliden Verarbeitung und dem tollen Material. Super praktisch für kleine Elektronik Artikel, Kabel, Werkzeug und alles was man unterwegs gut verstaut haben möchte. Gefaltete A4 Dokumente passen auch herein, allerdings muss man dann die schmalere Öffnung beachten! Die charmante Verpackung rundet das Gesamtpaket ab ;-) Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

As promised durable and excellent quality

Least tactical purpose for this thing. Its waterproof, so that means it will keep moisture in as well as out... so trying it out as a baby wipe carrier, in my tactical baby bag. Loads of bad wipe carriers on amazon, so will see how it holds up, but so far so good. Its built very well, nice zipper action.
