The dehumidifier arrived promptly and in good condition. It was well packaged. Very simple to install. The directions even gave suggestions on where it would best accomplish it's job. Installed and plugged in in just a couple of minutes. Seems to be working fine. It has raised the temp a couple of degrees and lowered the humidity in my safe.

Easy install and working great 2 weeks in. Its hot when I feel it and humidity is low in the safe.

This is being used in two steel Stack-On gun cabinets I liked this in almost every category except for the plastic mounting brackets. I bought one for each gun cabinet. The dehumidifying rod I installed yesterday was without any issues. The one I installed today I managed to break BOTH of its mounting brackets. I have no idea where to get replacements. If they had made the brackets a little beefier, not only would I have not broken two of them, I'd have been comfortable using the spare nuts and bolts that came with the Stack-Ons in place of the small screws that were included with the dehumidifers. I padded the backside (on the outside against the wall) of the cabinets where the screws popped through with some cardboard and painter's tape so I don't accidentally stab myself reaching behind the cabinet blind in the future for whatever reason. I touched the rod I installed yesterday to check it before I undertook the second cabinet: it was nice and warm, though not overly warm. Comfortable to the touch.

This was recommended from the installer. We just started using it. Mounted easily and appears structurally stable. Time will tell

****UK and European Countries**** To use this in the above countries you will need a step down mains converter as the unit is 110v (USA) Which I brought of the Internet, unit works as it should, hopefully does the trick and keeps the safe nice and dry. Yes I would recommend, but remember that Step Down Converter!

Had trouble with moisture in out safes in the basement. Tried desiccants and absorbers but nothing really seemed to work. This does. Easy to install and has eliminated our problem. Only wished I’d found it sooner.
