Excellent TV base
I bought this base for my TV and I was delighted. The material feels very good quality and gives a lot of stability, even with large screens. The installation was super easy, the instructions are clear and everything fit perfectly. In addition, the modern design goes well with any room. I've been using it for several weeks and it hasn't moved a millimeter. Definitely worth every penny! I 100% recommend this product if you want something firm, beautiful and durable.

Tough
I got this Suptek Ceiling TV Mount for my garage because, honestly, if I’m going to be in there working on stuff, I want some entertainment that’s not going to topple over. This mount’s been exactly what I needed—super sturdy and straightforward to install. It easily holds my 55-inch screen without a hint of wobble, and I can tell it’s not going anywhere. What I Love: • Solid as a Rock: Once it’s up, it’s up. This thing is solid and holds my TV steady as anything. I don’t have to worry about it dropping mid-project. • Good Range: Fits a variety of sizes, so I know if I upgrade my screen down the line, this mount will still be a fit. • Perfect for the Garage: This thing was made for a setup where durability counts. It’s not flashy, but it’s the kind of reliable quality I like. Any Downsides?: • Honestly, None So Far: I’m struggling to find a single issue. Maybe it’s not the prettiest, but when it’s keeping my TV safe, who cares? Overall, if you’re looking to keep your garage TV setup secure and out of the way, this mount is a winner. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable, and I’d pick that over looks any day. It’s the kind of investment you can count on—straightforward, solid, and no nonsense.

A Decent TV Mount
It’s ok as long as one chooses to used the 0-90 degree mounting bracket. I first installed using the instruction’s option B, the ‘drop down’ method. It was too wobbly and any little wind on my deck moved the television. I reinstalled using option A and it was fine. Easy to assemble and decent mounting hardware.

Inexpensive mount with free and fixed options
These are able to be used with a fixed connection to the top plate, or what is a basically a hanging arrangement. I'm using them with the hanging arrangement so they're easier to get behind, because I have some storage behind where the mounts are and I can just push the tv out of the way enough to get to it. The hanging arrangement is a bit strange at first, depending on how you mount the tv realize the pole won't hang straight down. Use the fixed hardware if you need that. It also takes some tinkering positioning the TV rails on the pole's mount to get it to hang straight, and I added some hardware to lock it more securely in that position. I have a few of these holding 55" sets up, including some heavier old oleds and they seem solid enough for that, but my .02 that's about the limit. I would not be comfortable with them for an old tank 55" plasma or modern 65", but that's just me. The heaviest 55" I have is around 45lbs and I wouldn't recommend using these for anything much above that, but that's just me. My only real complaint is the tilt arrangement won't hold with a 55" tv, it's too heavy and it just slips no matter what you do. If you want the sets at the max tilt down it's no issue, but if you want them held vertical it's a problem, and you'll need to rig up another bolt and nut to clamp things down enough. This is another reason I say 55" is the top end of what I'd recommend. All in all I'm still giving them 5 stars because the price is very low, and they're working well for me. I just think the 65" recommendation is a bit much. I'd stay under 50lbs.

Love it!!
This product comes in a lot of pieces, but the assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. I am using it for a 42" LCD flatscreen tv in my garage, and have no complaints so far. I'm not lowering my rating for this, however there is one slight modification I would make: Where the first pole sits in the mounting bracket on the ceiling, it would be great to have a 1/2" thick rubber grommet which would provide some grip so the tv doesn't spin on it's own if you have a fan in the room facing towards it or a breeze outside for those of you doing outdoor applications, and also to provide some shock absorption in case you accidentally bump it and it starts swinging. At some point I plan on adding my own rubber grommet, but ultimately I am very satisfied with my purchase. I hung on the pole before mounting the TV and it took all of my weight no problem. I weigh 140lbs which is much more than it is rated for, but it didn't budge. The metal is strong, and so long as you mount it well, it should be more than strong enough for any TV within the size parameters. There is a piece you can add which will only allow it to rotate a certain amount, so if you have a designated viewing area this could be helpful. Since mine is in the garage, I wanted to be able to rotate and view it from any angle. This feature works perfectly. I can rotate a full 360 degrees, the only thing that stops it on mine is the power cord which I zip tied to the mounting pole, otherwise it could rotate an infinite amount of times. The mount also allows for a slight tilt, which is perfect for high installations, and you can slide it side to side in order to get it nice and level. Totally love this product. Great value for the price.

For the price, eh, it's OK.
You get what you pay for. This is an excellent concept design, for the most part, and is very versatile in what you can do with it. However, some parts feel cheap... like in particular, the pole. If you go the route for the 360 rotation, the pole will lean one direction due to of the weight put on it by the TV. This gives me an uneasy feeling, and it just doesn't seem right. I was expecting the pole to have a more sturdy footing, being exactly perpendicular to the ceiling, straight pointing to the floor. I have an oscillating fan in the room, it literally causes the TV to slightly and noticeably sway. Aside from the pole in the ceiling mount piece, the biggest grievance has to be the plastic turn knob that helps to control the tilt of the TV screen. No matter how hard I tighten the screw to keep the TV at zero tilt, the screw slides back and TV tilts all the way down again. Using what parts I had, I was able to fit a long screw in to brace it from tilting. It was a long screw, along with two spacers, that I used that was available for the non-rotating setup (wall mount). The instructions were done well, plenty of pieces provided, however the pole in the hole of the ceiling plate allowing for leaning and the mount allowing a normal house fan on low speed to cause swaying... You may want to seek a more solid option. It is a middle of the road product, cheap and substandard, but does the job OK with some end-user creativity. In my humble opinion, it requires more from the end user than the instructions call for, especially if you want things to be the way you want them.

Worth the money, and more.
I normally don't write reviews, however, this needs to be known. First! I received my tv mounts (yes mounts) 3 days ahead of scheduled delivery. The packaging was heavy and heavily taped to hold it together. I assumed it was gonna be some cheap crap. Upon opening the first box, not the shipping box which was amazon shipping proof, I was blown away. The Tv ceiling mount had a sturdy mounting base that was much larger then the supplied pictures on Amazon. Sure Amazon add shows it as 4 1/2 inches between holes, but the picture does not give it justice. the poles are heavy duty, not some cheap add-on junk. All brackets and hardware show that it is a quality product, not some money grabbing throw-together scheme. I order 2 ceiling mounts for dual 50" tv's ans have no worries about this product getting the job done. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quality product for the job. I'll add more as soon as I install the mounts, Which I will do as soon as I finish this review. Update: Both poles are installed without a hitch. Instructions were spot on. One thing to add. If using the swing mount, assemble it first then mount it. If not done in this order you will have to unmount it to put the plastic washers in place. I have two 50" Philips led televisions and they look great. This opened up a whole wall for shelves .

Very Pleased With TV Mount
It has been holding up for 2 days now. Like another reviewer, I pulled my own weight on it before attaching the TV & like yet another, I went to the hardware store for metal anchors & lock nuts. Also, as others pointed out, the TV leaned forward way too much & I could not hand tighten the knob to hold it up. I was able to hang the TV on the rack myself & then while standing against the wall behind the TV & with one arm in front of the TV pushing it back, I tightened the aforementioned knob with channel lock pliers. Was worried the knob would break, but it didn't. I tried to do it delicately & not over tighten it. And I'm still worried it won't stay tightened, but I plan to check on it quite a bit until I am satisfied. I did not install it to rotate 360 degrees but based on the installation instructions, I feel certain that it would work that way. If the knob does not come loose or doesn't come loose often & it stays attached to the ceiling, I will upgrade my review. I wanted to give it 4 or 5 stars but it's too soon to make that call. As of right now, I am satisfied. UPDATE: It is still at the tilt at which I tightened it. So far, I am very satisfied. I would suggest metal anchors as a change down the road as well as a knob that is metal and formed for pliers or channel locks to tighten. Outside of that, I'm very pleased! I expected something of this nature to need the bolts checked occasionally for loosening, so I am okay with that. I am adding a 4th star now. NEW UPDATE: As of 8/13, the position has not changed on its own. It is still set to the tilt at which I set it. Screws still snug against the ceiling. Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars now. Very pleased with this TV mount!
