The seal installs easy enough, but getting the PVC through is challenging
The seal installs easily enough, but getting the PVC through is challenging. Using silicone lube helps, and putting a slight taper on the edge of the PVC pipe works wonders. No Leaks 😀

Easy and cheap
Easy to install and cheap. Sand the ends of the pipe to give them a bevel and lube stuff up with dawn dish liquid.... my pipe went right in, no leaks.

These things work!
THEY WORK!!! Saves mountains of time and they don't leak. Bevel the end of the pipe slightly and coat with soapy water and they go right in. Can be repositioned at a later time and still not leak. They say the minimum thickness to put these in is 3mm but i'm using several on a fiberglass tank less than 3mm in thickness and they work fine and don't leak. Way better than traditional threaded bulkhead fittings. I'll be buying more soon.

I have used this to connect plastic barrels
this 2 inch Tank adapter, bulkhead works well with PVC piping. The instructions were sufficient in drilling for the opening to put this in the plastic barrels. Also a great price for a sixpack through Amazon

Good material
Good solid rubber, bought several for our fish tanks. They seal great and they even give you a chart so you get the exact size hole you need. Made it easy, no guess work

Very easy to install...

Taper the pipe ends and use lube.
I learned to taper the pipe ends by sanding them or the sharp edge of the pipe will cut into the uniseal and cause a leak. Lube with dish soap. It's a must. Other than that these are awesome!!!
