2 out of 2 don't work
First, I am a retired certified master mechanic of 30 years. Thought I would save a few bucks and went ahead and bought this throttle body by Dorman. I've used Dorman parts over the years and found them to be quality parts, THIS IS NOT. The first unit I put on had bad grinding noise in the gear set and the engine would not even start. I returned the throttle body and they sent another. This one worked somewhat, the motor started but would not idle and went into limp mode after warmup. To late to return so bit the bullet, went to the local store and paid a couple hundred more for a name brand. Installed and happy. Runs Great

This fits 2003 GMC Yukon XL 1500 Denali 6.0 AWD
This item fixed my issue with throttle body and pedal sensor error codes. Vehicle had check engine and reduced engine power. I replaced the TB harness and throttle body actuator due to age. Cleaned TB and performed relearn. My repair was fixed by replacing TB complete unit. Vehicle has 208k miles and was over due for new TB. Iโm not sure why the listing shows not compatible with 03 Yukon XL 1500 Denali 6.0 AWD. But I read on the Dorman website the interchange numbers match will all other branded part numbers. So yes this will work. I also replaced the pedal sensor with the Dorman. I figured Iโd get it all done once and for all. Iโve been very happy with Dorman brand products. They have came along way IMO.

Works perfect
I replaced my oem throttle body with this Dorman one, I was having issues with mine during cold morning. It came in quick. I replaced it and so far no issues, very happy with it because the problem seems to be resolved . The price for it is good.

Save yourself time, buy OEM
Bought this to replace my OEM one that had failed and was causing a P1516 code with a reduced engine power message. Decided to take my chance with this Dorman one and it was worse than the original. I did a idle relearn and was constantly getting a P1516 and REP code when the motor was cool. When I reached temp it would work just fine. Problem is you have to keep turning the vehicle off, hook up the scanner and then clear the code. Did a TAC data reading and the projected and actual throttle position was off by over 3%! Bought the AC Delco OEM one and the issue was immediately resolved with a less than 1% difference in projected vs actual throttle position. You can get the OEM AC Delco one here on Amazon for only about $60 more than this.

Works great!
It's not the easiest thing in the world to install, but once you get it done, it works well. My vehicle has over 230K miles and it was time. Dorman makes the best product line for after-market vehicle products. Never a doubt about their quality.

Solved several codes
Installed this on my 2003 5.3L Suburban I picked up for cheap. Previous owner installed the Hitachi unit which caused the P1516, P2135, P0120 and P0220 at every cold start morning or evening and I would have to clear these codes before I could drive without the "Reduced Engine Power" limp mode message on the dash. It took a few driving cycles for the PCM to learn it's idle again but this thing is driving better than ever at 296K miles now.
