Trash Ninja Trash Can Deodorizer & Odor Eliminator, Unscented 2 Pack

I know this has some negative reviews but, for me, it worked wonders. At first I was disgusted when it arrived because I didn't know it only came as ONE deodorizer. I thought there were more than one in the pack. But after I put it in my garbage and realized that it got rid of every odor, I wasn't mad anymore and decided I would be buying this on a regular basis. I tried everything to keep my garbage from smelling, which came from cat disposal. Baking soda and disinfectant spray didn't do it. But this completely got rid of the odor. I mean no smell at all. I didn't expect it but, as I said, I'll be purchasing this on the regular. -- EDIT!!! -- It worked until it fell in the garbage. Not sure how this is supposed to last 3 months or longer when it doesn't even stay stuck to the lid for two weeks. Won't be buying again after all. A waste of money since it falls off and you don't even realize it. Money, literally, in the trash.

This was the worst product. It did nothing for the smell, it did not stay stuck to the trash can lid, and because I threw the box away, I cannot return it. I had high hopes for this because it said it was reusable - all you have to do is put it in the sun. It did not work from the start! Don't waste your money

Help my outdoor trash can from odors

I don’t think that this actually works. I have an automatic trashcan and every time you walk by it the top opens and so I really needed something to keep the smell down. It is a nice product. Do read the description carefully though. I apparently did no-t and expected something to place in a garbage can. This is for an indoor trach receptacle. It could never hold up to an automatic garbage truck dumping it.

It does not stay closed, resulting in the deodorizer part constantly falling out of the holder. I was always having to fish it out of the trash can. Turns out that inside the can, mixed with the trash, is where it belongs.

It smells ok but I followed the instructions wiped the surface clean, waited for it to dry then applied product and and held in place for alloted time. 5 minutes later it fell off. I then used gorilla glue. 24 hrs later it fell off again.

The unit sticks to the trashcan lid very well. The deodorizer works well and recharges easily in the sun. I like the reusablility and lack of chemicals.

Zuerst war ich sehr skeptisch über den Nutzen. Nach dem ersten Einsatz muss ich jedoch sagen, es hilft. Die Geruchsbelastung ist fast komplett verschwunden. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das etwas "wabbelige" Filtergehäuse. Die Verschlüsse greifen nicht richtig und so kommt es vor, dass die Filter herausfallen. Bei mir hat etwas Panzertape geholfen. Zur Regeneration der Filter kann ich noch nichts sagen.

Such a simple, useful thing! I recently moved somewhere where they don’t recycle food waste so it has to go in the main bin. I was worried about it smelling but after using this, no smell at all! It didn’t adhere to the bin very easily as the bin has a curved lid, but I slipped a little magnet inside, worked a treat!
