Fantastic pan, best I’ve ever owned
This frying pan is worth every cent. All my prior pans have been parts of cheap sets from target or the like, claiming to be nonstick and good quality, but I didn’t know what I was missing out on until this frying pan. It heats up quickly and evenly. I actually can use a lower temperature to cook effectively because the pan conducts the heat so well. It was a bit of a learning curve at first! I also hadn’t experienced high-quality nonstick until this pan. Before buying this pan, I watched some review videos from America’s Test Kitchen, and a key test for a nonstick pan is to be able to fry and egg without oil. I hadn’t thought such a thing could be possible and any pan I’ve previously owned couldn’t manage such a feat, but this pan absolutely can do that no problem. Other great features are a comfortable handle design and the ability to use the pan in the oven. It is also very easy to clean-unsurprisingly, since the nonstick coating works so well. This pan is excellent and I love it, but there are a couple things you might want to consider before buying this particular pan. First, this pan doesn’t come with a lid, which maybe isn’t an issue for you, but I have found myself from time to time needing to use a lid from another pan and would have preferred a pan with a lid. Made In sells a universal lip separately so I might get that. Something you might consider, if a lid is essential to you. Second, this is a rather hefty pan. If you’re lifting the pan a lot (e.g., to toss a stir fry), the weight could end up being a frustration. I don’t lift and maneuver the pan too much, so this hasn’t been an issue, but I could see someone wanting something lighter. These are points of preference rather than quality, so I didn’t dock any stars for these two considerations. Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality. It has raised the bar for all future pans and I would feel confident buying from Made In again.

Really, Truly, Actually, Non-Stick
Believe me, I was just as skeptical as anyone reading this, and we’d purchased several other pans on here that all make the same claims and never lived up to the expectations. We’ve had this coming up on two years now and it still works like day one. Anything stuck on it glides off INSTANTLY. My one qualm is it both scratches and stains relatively easily, so you really do have to be very careful with it, but if all you want is a pan that’s truly non-stick and easy to clean, this is worth every penny.

Excellent pan
This pan is beautiful. Truly a quality piece. It's heavy, well made, and it's actually flat. When you pour oil, the oil stays where you pour it. Most cheaper pans are raised towards the center, and your oil will move to the edge of the pan, especially as it heats. But this pan is actually flat. It comes very well packaged. It heats very evenly. And measures 12 full inches on the bottom of the pan. And the walls of the pan extend outwards, which adds to the pans capacity. The edges seem rolled (but I have not confirmed this), so when you pour something from the pan it doesn't run down the side of the pan. I recommend hand washing in warm water and using silicone and wood utensils. I also recommend not using it (or any non stick pan) on high heat. And make sure you heat the pan with oil to preserve the non stick. I also notice that I can use less oil, which is great. But you'll still want to make sure to use some so the pan doesn't get exhausted. In all I haven't had anything stick, and the pan exceeded my expectations. I love it, and I've been guarding my pan like a grandma who trusts no one.

scratched from frying an egg - unbelievable!
I appreciate high quality cookware, having used All-Clad for my 34 years of being married. Like everyone else, I usually buy inexpensive nonstick pans because, well, they are a disposable item, but I do baby them with low-medium heat and nylon utensils. I decided to sample an 8” Made By nonstick frying pan, being drawn mostly by the 5-layer clad design similar to my All-Clad D3/D5 cookware that are now over 30 years old and still looking and functioning like new. This pan is incredibly built and precisely finished and feels perfect in the hand and appears to be a perfect complement to All-Clad pots. That is where it ends. I washed it and seasoned it with olive oil. Then I cooked an egg. I like to fry eggs in my nonstick pan without utensils for turning. I preheated the pan and oil on low-medium heat. I dropped in my room temperature egg. Then I applied salt and pepper. After 2 minutes I oscillated the pan and got the egg spinning in the pan. The eggs swirled around the pan effortlessly, and quite impressively. Then I flipped it mid air and once again twirled it around the perimeter of the pan. When the egg was done I dumped the egg onto my plate. Perfection! Then I washed the pan. All normal egg cooking stuff. Upon inspection, I discovered many faint scratches in the nonstick surface. Turns out, the salt scratched the surface of the pan! Just ordinary table salt from a shaker. Unbelievable. See pictures. I have had this same exact experience with an All-Clad pan many years ago. I sent the pan back to Amazon - so grateful for Amazon Prime! In contrast, we bought my daughter some Tramontina nonstick pans for her first apartment in college ($14 each at Costco - the ones with the red removable handle covers). Same exact process for cooking an egg and the pans are perfect after many uses. They are perfect, in fact, after cooking many things. So the Made In pans are a bunch of hype and do not deliver near the performance of a pan costing nearly 10 times less! I am still sampling some other pans to see if I can find a more upscale experience, but I will steer clear of Made In. Hope this helps.

Just what was needed
I was looking into non--stick frying pans for my wife, and she suggested that I look into the Made In brand. My main concern with any non-stick pan is the possible toxicity of the non-stick materials. After researching the various materials for nonstick, I found that Made In had a double layer of PFOA-free non-stick coating. And right below the cookware surface is 18/10 stainless steal, while the bottom of the pan is 430 stainless steel, to make it compatible with our induction cooktop. No aluminum in contact with anything. My wife in particular loves to cook eggs, and the Made In pan is just perfect for that. The pan cleans up so easily, eliminating the difficult chore after cooking eggs. My thanks to Made In for making such a high-quality product! I ended up getting the 8" and the 10" non-stick My wife absolutely loves the

Non-stick properties wore off after a couple of years
I don’t know how long the non-stick properties of this skillet are supposed to last, but I noticed a serious decline in them about 2 years into my ownership of this pan. They continued to worsen for a year until this morning, where everything I made for breakfast stuck to the pan, which caused me to retire it for good. Aside from the decline of its non-stick properties, this pan was excellent and about on par with All Clad’s made in the USA skillets for me. But the lack of longevity of the non-stick coating has motivated me to look at less costly pans this time around.

Versatile, Sturdy, High-heat
You can cook things in a hot oven which is what I really like about this particular non-stick pan. It's also beautifully made, quite reasonably heavy and the surface is beautiful. Just read the instructions carefully because nothing is indestructible. I don't have any scratches on mine and I'm careful to follow the instructions. It's not super delicate but the surface has to be maintained with care. It doesn't transfer heat the same as ceramic covered cast iron, so it won't put a sear on say Salmon skin the same as ceramic covered cast iron but I cooked lamb loin chops in the oven with this and they turned out great, with a nice crust. It's safe up to 500°, which is awesome. They just want you to wipe it clean and not even use the abrasive side of a sponge so that's what I mean by pay attention. I haven't had anything stick on it that I couldn't get off by rubbing with a soft sponge. I usually wipe it out right after cooking with either a paper towel or the soft side of the sponge and everything comes right up. I'm going to try mashing my refried beans in it with a plastic masher but I'm going to be very careful not to scrape the flat and or its edge along the bottom when I do so.

Earth-shatteringly expensive; shatteringly poor durability
I moved to a place with an induction stove, so I had to give up my $50 OXO 12 Inch Skillet. I still wanted to make French omelets, and there are not a lot of slippery non-sticks for induction. So I bought this earth-shattering expensive pan. It's smaller at 10 inches and costs a whopping SGD 188 (142.35 USD). I take care not to damage my pans and use a silicone spatula when cooking, lo and behold, check out the scratch... I'm now forced to either ingest leeched chemicals and microplastics or buy a new pan - woo hoo. Save the planet folks, we don't need disposable crockery on top of disposable cutlery

The best there is....
After a year of use.....Amazing product, I use it on a induction range. The magic about this pan is that it heats up quicker than any pan that I have ever used in the last 12 years and no or very little oil is required. the food just glides off the surface and easy to clean. one amazing product, worth every penny

Very sturdy
I was surprised to see that this non stick pan looks identical to the stainless steel pan that I previously ordered with a Teflon coating. This is the best non stick pan I have ever owned. I’ve cooked on it a couple times and the heating is even and the food slides out of the pan. Clean up is easy with just soap and a sponge. I highly recommend this pan to anyone wanting to upgrade their nonstick pan.

It’s Big!
Very nice pan, it’s very big. The non stick works great but will it last?
