Works great and easy set up
Our house is roughly 3000 sq ft, and our router is not in a very central location. We were having issues with devices maintaining consistent strong connection in the areas of the house that were far away from the router. I bought a 3 pack of these (2 access points + 1 router), and after setting them up, our issues are completely gone. It took maybe 30-45 minutes to set them all up including creating and organizing rooms on the google home app to help with voice activation of the smart lights set up in the rooms. The instructions are very easy and the app guides you through setting them up step-by-step. You don't need to be extremely knowledgeable with technology to get them working. Keep in mind the router version and access point version are two different but similar products.

Easy setup, but does not work with 6E router.
Ordered this product to boost my WiFi signal in part of my house. Setup was easy, but when the setup was complete my Google Home app informed me that the unit was not compatible with my 6E router.

Came dirty, and without the code to activate it
This was perhaps the most disappointing purchase i've ever made on Amazon. I expected "refurbished" to mean approximately, "like new, but in replacement packaging." Instead, it showed up with scuffs and smears of unidentifiable brown stuff on the side. I cleaned it off, then started trying to add it to my existing mesh network. There is a current problem with Google being unable to add WiFi devices using a Pixel phone, so I spent some quality time with Google support. Eventually I resurrected an old iPad to get past that issue. Unfortunately, I then discovered that the device was delivered without the QR code or setup key (9 digit number) required to add it to the mesh. So the device was completely useless to me. I tried to call the Amazon product support line mentioned on the flier that was stuffed into the box, but a recorded voice told me that wait times were unusually long and they recommended that I call back at some other time. I'll return this one and order from a different seller, but I'll never get back those hours of my life.

Need just a little more instruction like where is the code?!
I was going to return this as I could not find the code to sign in with. But after coming on here and requesting a refund I decided to look through the reviews and luckily found someone saying it’s on bottom where the code sticker normally would be and that you need to take a photo and then hen enlarge photo then you will see code! Bingo that worked! Maybe seller needs to add that to direction booklet! Just hand write it! Would have saved a lot of stress! Anyway thanks and so excited to have this! Additional point!

good coverage for the price
I needed to replace my older Google wifi because 1 of the points failed and I was on a pretty tight budget, so I started with a renewed nest wifi router. I had very good coverage inside my 2200 sq. ft. home with just the router, but I have stone walls and I needed to get wifi to my patio and back yard. I bought 2 of these access points and put them near windows and now I have great coverage outside, my patio smart tv works flawlessly, and I even have a solid signal in my tool shed about 50-60 feet from the house. My speed is 350ish mbps at the router, and I'm in the 180's on my patio, and 50's at my shed. I'm all in for under $200 and I'm very happy with the performance for the price!

Great supplement to my Google Mesh
I needed one more access point for my network, so I could get Internet connectivity to my shop. This was the perfect solution. Others mentioned that their refurbished devices were scratched. Mine too was scratch a bit, but a spray of a bleach cleaner removed the black marks. This could be easily resolved by the refurbishing company putting the power adapter in a bag, then adding it to the box, instead of it loosely moving around marring the point. No issue for me since it cleaned up and the device was headed to the shop anyway.

Works, but has issues
While it works, it has issues. I needed another point to put in my garage to get internet to some exterior nest cameras. Mesh wifi seems pretty unstable. When I set it up it says it has a great connection, but every week it changes to weak connection and I need to restart the Mesh network to fix it. We got a cold spell where temperatures got down to -10 or so, this cause the point to go offline entirely which is good that it protects itself like that, but still a limitation I was not expecting.I would recommend this to random people, but not my friends.
