Alphabet (Flash Kids Flash Cards) Review: Sturdy flashcards with clear letters. - These are great for my ESL classes. The cards are made from a sturdy cardboard and I like that there are three cards for each letter; capital letters, lower case letters and the written word for the picture on the front of the card. I also really like the color flashcards too. They are just a solid color which I find to be far less confusing for new English learners than cards with a colored object on them. If I had one complaint it would be about the pictures, some of them are not the most obvious choice for the letter and the pictures themselves on some cards are average at best. Best alphabet cards I bought so far. Review: perfect for toddlers - These are the perfect flash cards to help toddlers learn the alphabet and numbers. They aren't too busy or distracting looking. i like that they have just the letter and no picture or anything else on the front. I found this to be extremely useful for my daughter.

Love these! Highly recommend...great for my 3 year old!
I have looked high and low for flash cards with JUST THE LETTER on them...not a picture or word...just one letter. Finally I found the perfect set!! These have capital and lowercase letters on separate cards as well as cards with a word that begins with that letter, and color cards...but each thing is on its own separate card, hallelujah! My 3 year old has really enjoyed them (as well as the number set by the same company) and theybeven offer games/activities to do with our child using the cards. Highly recommend!

Best flashcards for little ones
I love these flashcards because there is just ONE thing on the card - no clutter, no distractions. There is just one, clear, recognizable picture on the back as well. My daughter was two when she started learning letters, so the simpler the card the better! I did laminate them because 2 year olds can be a little tough. Now we can continue to use them as she grows to learn lowercase letters, pictures associates with letters, colors and some simple starter-words. Great flashcards.

not the worst cards out there but room for improvement
There's a lot to like about these cards they have three sets of alphabets - lowercase, uppercase and word cards- all with the same picture, great for a variety of matching games for younger kids. There are also color word cards. There's a large variety of object, animal and food words but some of the included words could be better. Ice cream and jelly bean, in particular since we try to limit exposure to candy/sugar. I also would have preferred a hard 'g' sound instead of giraffe. Was gate or goat to difficult to come up with? Seems that word choice is a common complaint on flashcard sets. The illustrations are rather cartoony as well and the style isn't uniform. Over all I'm satisfied. I show the uppercase letter cards to my daughter (9 months) make the sound ( again, why giraffe?!) And say the word. She likes the bright color backgrounds for the letters and we can get to about w before she loses interest.

Favorite flash cards!
These are my favorite flash cards for kids! As a teacher, I like that they are simple and bold, without photos on the side with the letter. I also like they the upper case and lower case letters are on separate cards.

Great learning aid for toddler!
I have been searching for flash cards that would help introduce my toddler to the alphabet and also to expand his vocabulary. My problem was that I was having a really hard time finding flash cards that only had the letter on one side of the card. I didn't want him focusing on a picture of something else that started with the letter- I wanted him to just see the letter on the card, so that he was specifically focusing on that letter. Finally! I found these cards. They were much more than I expected and were at such a great price. These cards teach not only the uppercase letters, but have cards for the lower case letters as well. They also provide cards to help with learning primary colors! I am very pleased with my purchase. My little boy has already begun to recognize more of the alphabet and his vocabulary is expanding daily as he learns to recognize and say the pictures on these cards.

Lots of different uses!
Best kind of flashcards because they ONLY have the letter on one side. Most flashcards have pictures alongside the letters and that distracts my kids, they look at the pictures or talk about it and don't really look at the letter shape and so don't learn it very fast. I like that it has capital and lowercase on separate cards, plus colors and word cards. This is a really great set for several different kinds of learning! Highly recommend!

This was the product I was looking for and it fits my requirement the best. My son likes it very much. It is more of creativity learning. These flash card makes learning more easy for the kids. It doesn't push things down on the kids, it takes learning gradually. I love it!

I bought these for my 2yr old daughter to get her learning the alphabet before she starts nursery. The cards are a good size, nice colours and have managed to catpure my daughter attention. They come with the capital letters as well as the lower case letters and also have a set that spells the picture as well as card teaching them the colours. They seem pretty durable as suprisingly not one has been torn in my daughter's possession! Great price and worth the purchase, as my daughter is now learning her phonics and has already managed to spell her name using the cards!
