It does fit the XJ-3000C model
Some reviews are stating it's a bit too big for the 3000C model. Well, at least the 3000C model I have, it does fit. Is it a tight fit? I think so, I think a bit snugger than previous filters I've used. But it fits nonetheless and as far as I can tell, no one else is making these filters anymore except this company. I would suggest making sure there's no foreign material between the foam seal (the seal that goes inside the rectangular hole deep inside the unit). This filter I received had a tear-off cardboard covering on the interior HEPA portion, which I found didn't tear off completely cleanly, so I had to pick at it a bit to make sure no cardboard was going to get in the way of the foam rubber seal. I've been using this air filter machine for almost 20 years now. It's wonderful that some company is still making filters for these. I don't believe the machine itself is made anymore, but apparently it was made to last and here we are that in 2023, there are enough people still using these machines that warrants a company to keep producing the filters for them and at a reasonable cost. TIP: It's a good idea to periodically remove the filter, take it outside and blow off the dust that has built up on the surface of the filter. Do it outside away from others and just give to quick hard puffs of air on it from your lips and the dust will just fly off. This will extend the life of your filter. I usually get 2-3 years out of each filter...once the HEPA portion no longer appears bright white and clean, it's time for replacement.

Doesn't fit the xj3000c
It's a little too big for the xj3000c. You can shove this filter in, but the front doesn't close right. When I turned on the purifier, the motor sounded like it was going to overheat and it smelled funny.
