Like many other Alaskans, I shop "grubstake" style for each season. I am never without beans, barley, rices, dried fruit and dehydrated vegetables. I prefer dry beans. My older brother is the same way. We trade sometimes, to tide each other over. This bundle is nice. Its volume didn't scare our amateur niece/cook from learning to cook bean soups and chili.

We use this and cheap cuts of chicken to feed our dogs. Pressure cooker, beans, rice and chicken thighs (we debone after cooking the meat) and it's cheaper than the dry food we used to use. Dogs prefer it to the dry foods.

We always cook beans at home and so I can usually tell if they are high quality. The good ones expand a lot just from soaking overnight in water, so I can see they are more fresh this way. These meet the mark! I soak them overnight, rinse, and then do the pressure cooker for 20-30 minutes with broth or water depending on the beans (longer cooking time for pinto and black). It's also good to add onion peels (the ones you throw out when peeling an onion) to the broth when cooking and a couple of bay leaves - adds such good flavor and reduces the need for salt. Highly recommend.

I thought the value was good. Everything I’ve used them in so far has been tasty. I really only cook them in my instant pot. Glad to save some pennies and eat healthier too.

Haven't used yet. Love the brand though sure it's fine. Will update if and when I use. Quality is fine. I got this as emergency supply.

This is a nice variety pack of beans, I was happy with this purchase.

I bought these when we had the pleasure of dealing with food shortages under the current administration! However, they are a lot of beans - anyhow, they are fresh and a great value for your money.
