Magical Butter Filter Press - BPA-Free Reusable Straining System & Brush

I think this is a good value for the money, because it actually works! Straight up, I waited for the Amazon days to catch the discount which made it even sweeter, but the bottom line is it works even at full price! The thing with this press is to not guerriller it I repeat do not throw your weight into this, you want to pour off your liquid and try to keep the solids back and let it strain let it drip in its own time and then you're going to use the plunger to help squeeze the last of your carrier whether it's oil or butter or alcohol out of the solids. When I first got this and tried it I was leaning into it a bit and did not break anything of course I wasn't that crazy, but it's something that you just want to let strain out let the gravity help. I found this to be very efficient and very pleasant to use with great results. It's very easy cleanup and I recommend . Yes I did all the old school methods and grabbed everything in my kitchen that I could think of and even picked up some things that I thought would help ,along the way of doing infusions. It's fun being clever but you know what this is a timesaver, and to me it's worth it I was very pleased with the results and I have absolutely no regrets that I purchased this. It's well made it's well thought out and it's easy enough to use if you handle it with care and use it smartly you will have no problems. Even if you're not using the magical butter machine, and you're extracting/infusing however you wish, you'll find this a valuable tool. Just use it smartly and you'll be very impressed with the results! Happy infusing!

Easy to use. No leaks. It seemed a little big to process the small amount of material I use. When I bought it the price seemed high. When I used it I realized the price was reasonable.

This is a good press and filter you will still want to do second filtering through cloth to get really fine material out of your product however. It's easy to use and pretty easy cleaning also. It fits both large and smaller mouth jars. I am happy with this purchase.

This is the best product for real I use to use alot of cheesecloth & get my hands all full of butter squeezing all the butter out now no wasting good magic butter all over hands I get every last drop in Mason jar no messes ever again.

I've given this 4 stars because I haven't used it yet but I don't see how it could disappoint. It's very easy to assemble and it's versatile. It can be used with any canning jar with a regular mouth or wide mouth! There are two pieces of sturdy plastic, a stainless steel filter with fine holes for filtering any herbs, flowers or spices out of your teas or tinctures. There's no noise and I can't detect a smell from the pieces. There's also a brush to clean the filter after each use so it's a good value. I can't wait to use it! Making teas and extractions will be much easier now that I have such a fine filter and the plunger fits snuggly so I can press out every drop of liquid! No waste!

I infuse a lot of different herbs and flowers into oil, and it is a PAIN in the bum to make sure no plant bits end up in the final products! Enter, this thing. It is absolutely perfect! Wide mouth jar? Yep, that works. Narrow mouth jar? That, too! Screw this filter assembly onto the jar, pour the infused oil in the top, then press down on the plunger. Done! Perfect, clean, infused-oil. Super easy. Perfect design to get all of those flower petals and plant pieced out. A bit expensive, but if it last, it's well worth it! I won't know that for a while. But, in the meantime, I'm ordering a second one - one for oil, one for water infusions.

Well worth the money. The task of getting the bottom sludge devoid of oil or tinture is much less of a gross disgusting task with this. You pour it into the bottom that is screwed into a jar and it disapates. Then when the liquid is is down you add the paste of groundup weed and wet liquid. the plunger gets the liquid out without fuss. Cleanup is helped with included bottle brush. Nice product for gross job. The current kit still shows the mesh strainer, which works but is much more prone to getting your hands full of muck when you try to squeeze the last bits from the plant materials. Very happy with product.

This thing makes butter making easy and easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

I was very skeptical that this would be worth the price but it’s far more affordable than a tincture press, I’m just making medicine for me and my family but I was GENUINELY impressed with the usefulness and quality. I wish I bought this thing years ago! I had no idea such a thing existed. I use this for making tinctures and vinegar/oil extractions and it is now an essential part of my kitchen. Pressing things through strainers is messy and you waste a lot from getting stuck to the edges of large bowls. If I’m making 1/2cup of tincture and I have to use a large bowl and strainer it’s just not ideal. Not to mention finding the right size holes and the right size diaper of strainer and the mess of using cheese cloth…. (And wrecking your strainers from pushing too hard.) This is honestly the perfect gadget for me, I grow medicinal plants (no not that kind lol) and it helps me actually utilize my efforts and encourages me to keep going! Since my labour & time had SIGNIFICANTLY decreased I can spend more time in the garden where I belong .
