Japanese Craftsmanship Garden Hand Tool Hoe and Cultivator Hand Tiller

One of the best hand tools I’ve ever bought. It’s Japanese, hand forged which you can tell by close examination of it not being perfect, by it’s mildly rough texture . My favorite part is the forks. They will catch weed roots. They will easily turn soil that has been pre-tilled and sown with vegetable seeds. I used the sharp flat head to cut off emerging weeds. The tool overall is maybe. 15-16 inches but check the ad of this tool length for yourself. If you garden like I do on a rolling sit/down cart this IS the tool you want. The cutting head is wedged on with a reinforcing metal strap to make the head and the handle last for years. After digging with this for most of the day this tool is still sharp, which tells me the metal is high quality not the white metal or that pot-metal stuff that easily bends and breaks. So beware of other tools that look like this as one but are not Japanese. They most likely are cheap metals that can contain toxins so be aware of that too. You can buy one of the sitting carts on Amazon please read the reviews for quality. I would by one with an adjustable height seat. Happy Gardening!

I have some very invasive weeds in my flower garden that require removal at the root. This tool is strong enough to pry up the weeds without bending the tines. The axe side of the head is sharp, and I can cut away blackberry bushes without having to switch tools. It does not require any assembly; it comes as is. The length of the handle is perfect for me, but it could be challenging for people with smaller hands or shorter arms. My only concern is that the tool is somewhat heavy, which might make it harder for people who are weaker or have any type of mobility disability.

Where has this Gardner's dream been my whole life?!!! Here in eastern Tennessee we have very hard clay soil and lots of rocks in the ground... with roots too. So when I'm pulling weeds in beds and planting things, this right here is the most used tool in my entire shed. And I have a LOT of tools. The handle is a bit narrow but I've grown used to it. I'm 74 and have been weeding my ENTIRE LIFE. This right here is the most useful tool I've EVER had. You will not believe how versatile it is. And it's super sharp too. And after use it stays sharp enough that I don't think about it. I'm digging weeds up by the roots now with much less effort, and much greater productivity. I cannot give this a high enough rating.

Well made authentic Japanese weeding and tilling tool. Great for uprooting wandering weeds such as buttercup. The tynes are forged and are resilliant to difficult soils.

The garden tool is excellent. As described so there were no surprises. There were some issues having it delivered but the company rectified it when I brought it to their attention.
