I hate how much I love these
These are on the expensive side of instant noodles. I didn't want to like them, I really didn't. I don't like spending that much on instant noodles. I don't like needing to buy my instant noodles online. But for these? I'll make an exception. The noodle texture is good. They're wider than ramen and, in my opinion, are better than most instant ramen noodles. The sauce is a nice balance of sweet, savory, and salty, which I love; a lot of instant noodles mixes are too salty or have no nuance, but these have a pretty balanced flavor profile for how simple and quick they are to make. Add some sauteed chicken or tofu and veggies, and you have yourself a pretty good meal that only takes a few minutes to make. I like adding onions, bean sprouts, and broccoli most. So... Despite my reservations about buying these--I was literally eyeing them for months before biting the bullet--thry are worth the price. They are worth the waiting for delivery. And I will be buying them again.

One of my favorite things to eat EVER
EDITED TO ADD: You guys know this is a dry ramen, right? I'm seeing people say it has weak flavor & the pictures show it in soup, like people didn't drain the ramen. A dry ramen doesn't sit in broth, like your typical ramen does. It has a small packet of sauce that you toss with the drained noodles and that's it. No added water, hence, the term dry ramen. It's very tasty when made as directed. If you add water or don't drain your noodles & just dump the sauce packet in the water, of course it will taste bad. It's supposed to look like the picture on the front of the package -- just the DRAINED noodles with the sauce packet. This is a different kind of ramen than say, Maruchan & the like. REVIEW These are seriously so good. The taste is almost like chow mein. I add extra green onions (it comes with a pack of dried green onions) and cut shrimp so it's thinner & smaller, so I can have the taste of shrimp with every bite of noodles. I also add some sesame seeds, sesame oil, and some butter. You wouldn't think so, but the butter takes it over the top, making these noodles super silky. There's no heat to this at all, so when I'm cooking my shrimp, I add some chili oil to that & it's perfect. You could add veggies & stuff, but it would be dry since the sauce packet is really small. I mix the sauce with the noodles & get them all coated evenly before I add in my shrimp. And I cook this all in one pot. I'll use a saucepan & cook the shrimp together with the packet of dried onions, the chili oil, a little sesame oil, and my fresh green onions. I move that to my serving plate, then add 4 cups of hot water to the saucepan to cook the noodles. When done, I sauce up my noodles with the sauce packet, then add the shrimp mixture. If you're having this as a main dish, each little pack will serve one. Let's be realistic 😂 I'm a tiny little bird lady & it's so good I can eat 9/10s of it by myself. If having as a side dish, it'll serve 2. And don't be misled by "ramen" because it's not soupy like the cheap ramen you can buy. It literally looks like the pic on the front of the package. Anyway, this is so good. You can't go wrong with it, even if you don't get fancy & add things. SO GOOD. I have it on auto-ship & I'm here to order more because I can't wait until my next subscription shipment 😂

Not bad!
I wanted to try these after seeing so many people give rave reviews. I love Ramen so I had to try them. The noodles were thicker than I'm used to, but they cooked up soft so no problem. I tasted the sauce alone before I poured it onto the noodles since the package said some people find it can be too much or too spicy. It was neither for me. The sauce was the best part and could have had a little more in it in my opinion. Too much noodle for me or too little sauce. When I make the next batch I'll make sure to keep some of the water or take some of the noodles out. The flavor of the sauce was the best I've tried in a Ramen though. I'm not sure it's worth the rave reviews I've seen, but it's a decent product.

Great-tasting. Fast. No heat.
Good-tasting, quick dinner. Add my own protein and veggies. Already has significant protein without additional meat. All the flavors are good, but soy/scallion is great for kids and adults who can’t tolerate any hot spices.

Not worth the price
Not really worth the price. On its own, it is not too bad as a side noodle dish. I would not eat it by itself as it’s pretty blah and unremarkable. I had to add spicy scallops and vegetables to make it interesting. I tried the Soy and Scallion and the flavoring is so-so, and with very little flavor, it seems to rely on its terribly high and unhealthy salt content — 61% (1400mg) of the daily value for one pack! I am disappointed because there’s a lot of hype about this brand and I was looking forward to it. I think there are better and cheaper ramen brands in the market.

Finally a noodle that’s not as spicy as FIRE!
I’ve been hearing about David Chang’s instant ramen for a while now but didn’t get them because they’re more expensive than other varieties. I’m also what’s called a “baby mouth” which means I can’t handle extreme spice (don’t like is more accurate.) The current trend is a competition to see who can make the spiciest noodles. Then I saw this five pack of the Soy and Scallion variety for a decent price so I took advantage. First these noodles are fantastic! They’re air dried and the result is a pleasantly chewy texture. I cooked to package directions, three minutes for this flavor, and was happy that it results in “al dente” noodles where most other freeze dried brands are mushy. You could even go to 3 1/2 - 4 if you prefer them fully cooked. (Other flavors have different cook times so follow instructions the first time for best results.) The sodium values are over 50% RDV but it does NOT taste salty. In fact there’s a pleasant sweetness to the sauce. This is delicious as is but it would make a great base for elaboration even if all you do is add fresh scallions. I’m so happy with these I’m going to branch out to a spicier flavor. But I may not use the whole packet lol.

Don't let the ads fool you... no good!
I kept getting these stomach growling inducing ads for these noodles, so I had to try them. I did not find them in any of my local stores, but Amazon had them, though they were on back order. I got them in about a month and was excited to try. I made them with just the included ingredients, (noodles and sauce) ( there are several recommended recipes on the bag) When I first opened the noodles and sauce they smelled good so I thought they would smell even better after it was cooked. I followed the recommended microwave directions. I found the noodles to be rubbery and the included sauce was not enough to coat the noodles. and just kinda got absorbed by the noodles which made the noodles a weird hard sticky playdoh type texture. Though the smell was truly appetizing, the flavor was seriously lacking. I offered some to my hovering teens , who have made any and every type of noodle/ramen a staple to their diets. They immediately spit it out and asked me how I could ruin noodles! LOL! My daughter who considers herself a noodle connoisseur, made a pack of her own. She apologized to me and said these are just bad. Definitely, not worth the wait or the price. She gave the remaining bags to her school friends. They are quick to make and would make a great afterschool snack before afterschool activities. These teens who were "starving" and would eat just about anything available , would NOT eat this.

Basic and not worth the price
They're nothing to write home about and absolutely not worth the insane price they are now - £17?!. There's no denying the noodle quality is superior to most others available, albeit a small portion for the price. The sauce however is such a let down. It needs a lot of additions to make it even slightly interesting.

Best noodles and sauces.

It's just noodles and a packet of soy sauce and dried spring onion
Bit disappointed. Noodles and a packet of soy sauce and dried spring onion. I expected a bit more. Be cheaper to by these things separately.
