Great heavy duty 4" dryer vent connector
Exactly what i needed. I struggled in the past with this house getting the dryer hose over the connection in the floor. Then i realized the pipe was cut and needs this adapter. Works perfectly

Sturdy and well-made. Set a 4 inch flex hose like a glove. If you’re looking for something that you won’t have to worry about being replaced down the road, this is it.

Does what it should
After doing what I'm supposed to and cleaning out the dryer vent hose and pipe I was really struggling to reattach the aluminum(or whatever) accordion style tube. Turns out that both it, and what I was connecting it to are the same size. The struggle made perfect since and I decided to look for a solution which brought me here. The connector fits perfectly into the pipe I needed to connect to and logically, that means the accordion tube should fit, right? Well... yes, but it only slightly lessened the struggle because it just wants to keep pushing back on itself and bending anyway. I will be buying one of the rigid sheet metal kits next time I go to clean the vent, but this does work well enough that if there's any reason you can't or don't want to do the same, it's worth buying.

No Lint Loss
(Great Idea) Much improved as I have a Floor Vent. g Vent going down is hard to align, this helps a lot to align and less lint loss. Jack & Robin P.

Thick wall, but came squashed
Mine also came squashed, but I was able to reformed it without too much trouble. The outside diameter is a lot less than 4" more like 3 3/4", so I just wrap duct tape around it before inserting it to the pipe and then more duct tape on the outside, since I don't want to glue it to the existing 4" PVC pipe.

High quality
Worked perfectly over the top of 2 4” flex pipes, sealed ends with foil duct tape all is good now.

Problem fitting to ductwork size. Odd size doesn't match. Seems either a ductwork needs reducing or the size of this connector. Both are exact and fit face to face so one doesn't go inside the other to meet up to a good connection.
