5 star product -- an actual disabled aid too that really is excellent
Very recently disabledi ploughed through testing about 5 grabbers and these really grabbed my attention.I have 5 around the house to help me in each room. KItchen, bedroom, study, living room and 1 other.they are very rubberised grips on the grabber part.Very lightweight very well constructed very very usefuli did try litter pickers initially but they could not pick anything with any weight heavier than paper rubbish.it also has a magnetised area near the tipthe grabbing mouth part oof the tool can bre pulled out and twisted to change the orientation... something i have found so useful

Brilliant until it broke
I have had this for about 6 months and it has been wonderful, definitely worth the slightly more pricey cost. Unfortunately, I have managed to break one of the grabber sides off. I have a feeling it's because once or twice I've leant on it, a bit like a walking stick. I am going to try gluing it, because I don't tend to pick anything really geavy up with itBut I am going to buy another, and not be such a silly person with it! It's amazing for closing my curtains from my armchair. I'm disabled, and my curtain rail is really high. So even if i could stand, it's high up anyway, and I'm short. So I use the extra reach of the 40" grabber to be able to pull the curtains at the top and make them fully closed. Sometimes picking things up can be a bit tricky when it comes to putting it into my hand, just because the 40" is slightly too long. I migjt try the 36", so I've still got loads of reach, but have a tiny bit less to argue with when trying to put an item into my hand from it. I would say it definitely holds a lot more weight than my cheaper grabbers. I haven't overly tested it, but I have picked up a full 500ml brown glass liquid medicine bottle with it, and they're pretty heavy and a tricky shape/texture for grip. The grabber "fingers" have lots of grippy bumps. My guinea pigs have munched on them slightly, unfortunately. I do use it to help guide them home/away from wherever they are without having to get down on the floor with them and scoot around. It's also great for helping to clean out their cages as i can reach across to straighten blankets and what not. I find the locks on the folding sections to be very sturdy. I don't tend to fold it up, as I'm using it all the time, but they don't give way like some cheaper ones. It has the changeable angle for the gripper bit, so it can be inline or perpendicular to the handle. The handle is easy to hold (I have fairly small hands), and isn't stiff or difficult in anyway (my hands can be a bit hard to use). I often find myself using this in various places in my house. I have 1 cheap one in my bedroom for my curtains in there, but I will be replacing that, too, eventually. Fully converted tk the EzPick grabbers! Totally worth the money, especially if you can get it on sale.

Seems a good quality, long Grabber & it folds up....
Chose this Grabber, as mine got somewhat damaged. Firstly liked the fact it folded up. Then I was surprised how long it was, as I'm tall, I hadn't been aware one my other ones was fairly short. So I was interested to see how it would be, then I had the most unexpected reason to use it: I literally dropped a tub of tiny Vitamins all over the floor in the kitchen! I had to pick exactly 50 capsules up, one by one! Boy was I glad I had this longer grabber. So far so good.

Long reach, solid grip—folds down, rotates, and handles heavy rubbish without bending or fuss.
Used this for site clean-up and roadside litter—reach is spot-on for bins, bushes, and awkward corners. The 100 cm length saves your back, especially on long shifts or uneven ground. Grip’s strong enough to lift bottles, cans, wrappers, and even heavier bits like wet cardboard or small tools. The rotating head makes it easy to grab at angles—no wrist twisting or awkward positioning. Folds down for van storage, and the aluminium shaft feels solid without being heavy. I’ve used it in wet conditions—no rust, no slip.🔍 Specs & FeaturesLength: 100 cm (40")Material: Lightweight aluminium shaft, rubberised jawsGrip: Textured handle with trigger actionJaw Rotation: 90° rotating head for angled grabsFoldable: Collapses for easy storageUse: Litter picking, site clean-up, garden work, van stash🧪 PerformanceGrip Strength: Holds firm—no drop or twistReach: Long enough for bins, hedges, and under benchesDurability: Handles daily use—no flex or snapComfort: Trigger’s smooth, handle’s easy on the hand👍 Pros✅ Extra-long reach—saves your back✅ Rotating head—grabs at angles easily✅ Foldable—van and kit bag friendly✅ Strong grip—handles heavier rubbish✅ Lightweight but tough—built for daily use👎 Cons❌ No locking grip—must hold trigger for each grab❌ May feel bulky for short jobs❌ Not ideal for very fine items (e.g. cigarette butts)🧭 Personal VerdictIf you’re doing regular clean-ups, site work, or just want a proper grabber that doesn’t bend or break, this EZPIK tool earns its spot. Good quality
We were not sure whether to buy this product as opposed to other similar products but are glad that we did so. The quality of manufacture seems good and it helps that it can be folded up when not in use and it picks up objects well. For example we have not had it for long but have tested it so far on household objects indoors and on fallen leaves outdoors and it performed well, ideal for people of an age when bending down is no longer a preferred option!
