Good product just no instructions, Iโve put some in my review!
Only knocked down to 4 stars due to there being no instructions in English whatsoever. But it works fine. You will need some self adhesive Velcro strips though as none are included, Amazon sell little 3M branded ones that are very cheap and you can cut to size. Do not permanently fix or glue the main counter unit in place as you need to remove it if batteries run out. As for sensor you will need a small 3M self adhesive mounting pad this one can be permanent as no need to remove it unless itโs fault obviously. The two wires from sensor go in the plus and minus terminals on the counter which are marked, there are four terminals so just pick one side if it doesnโt work try other side two terminals. Hope this helps my fellow Amazonians ๐

Great product
This is my second one as I use it for a row counter for knitting. I returned this one as it was no longer needed. Great value tho.

100% satisfied!
I read some reviews, and it is obvious, many people don't know how to use this product. They say the instructions are in Chinese only... that is mostly true. There is a "POWER" and a "RESET" button. That is English, and even the electrical contacts in the back are understandable. If they don't know what this device is, and don't look at youtu8e, that is NOT the fault of the product. I bought this to count switch closures of a reed switch, but not the switch/sensor that is included. My hope was that the battery would last, at least a week. It worked perfectly. It does NOT turn off, to save power... which is what I want. 7 days later, it is working great. [Side note, when you take out the battery... 30 seconds later, it was still running... so I can tell you, this runs on microamps and I expect the battery to last a long time.] The digits are very readable. Installed this outside of a window, protected from water. Seems to work so far, from freezing to 80F. My application has switch closures lasting 55mS to 60mS... and this 1/15th to 1/20th second closure is counted every time. 100% recommend to the DIYers that understand, this is just a counter that counts. As shipped, it counts when the included magnet comes into proximity to the included sensor. That's it. You need to know how to attach it to whatever your application is.

Things don't always work the way they're supposed to.
It worked really well for the first couple of weeks, now it seems to be skipping rows and I have to mark my knited rows down. I bought this because the Sentro I bought had a crappy row counter that lasted about a day.

Instructions stink
Instructions in English would help as I don't read or speak any of the Chinese dialects

Works great!
Finally had the chance to hook it up on my circular knitting machine. There are no understandable instructions - china - however, both wires go to power side shown in one of my pics. Everything used to make this moveable to other machines are also from Amazon in pic. I bought 8x2mm magnets bc the one that came with the counter was pretty big, these work great! Adhesive dots and a package of bendable closet hooks fit perfectly on the counter! Other than that - adhesive hook tape! Works fabulous!
