I typically don't write reviews but this company (Feetmor) is fantastic! 1st, the design of this heat belt is top notch. The construction is well done. It heats belly or back or both on low, medium, high settings. The control buttons work well and give color feedback (red = high, Blue = medium, Green = low). The rechargeable battery lasts for the 5 hours I use it every night. It is very soft and comfortable to wear. Here's the most amazing part... The Velcro wore out after a few months and the belt would fall off. I contacted the Feetmor company about the problem. Within one week they sent me an extremely high quality Velcro extension flap that completely fixed the problem at no charge. I couldn't have been more satisfied or impressed. Great products! Great company!

Works really well and had a longer battery life than any other portable heat pad I’ve used! The material is a little stiff but I still prefer the longer battery life!

Purchased this product because my heating pad I had before went missing and I was in desperate need of it. I plugged in for the recommended time before the first use and the battery was charged before the 3 hours were up. Within 1.5 hrs it was ready. I love that it comes with a battery pack and makes this product easier to move around. Having a special needs child who is quite heavy when lifting him, I sometimes throw my lower back out. So far so good. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to have a heating pad that doesn’t prevent them from moving about the house, walking outside, driving in the car or for at work. So worth the purchase.

Would be better if you could wear it without the cord. Use for teenage girl cramps and she can’t wear it in class which is when she really needs it.

I'm liking it so far. I got it because I was using the microwave heat pads, but would get so frustrated going up and down the stairs, multiple times a night, when I was in pain, to reheat it. So instead of getting a microwave for my room, I got this. Works well so far, but man, the chemical smell is nauseating. I might let it air out in our garage for a week or 2. I'm sensitive to certain smells and this is pretty bad. I like it otherwise!Update:I seriously love this thing. It doesn't smell anymore. I use it while in bed so I keep it plugged in, but the battery lasts a long time when unplugged. I unplug it when I use it while sleeping, and turn the heat to medium, and it's still on when I wake up. I'm so glad I bought this.

Very handy gadget to have.

I find the back heating element rather difficult to distinguish from the belly heating element. It would have been nice to make the area of the back heating area a different color. Some times, I use the belly for the back as the bey hearing element has a much bigger surface area. The battery lasts longer than I expected on a 4 hour flight on high/med.

Everyday my back gets a little worse. L4/L5 is bone on bone. In Oregon, cold snaps make it worse. This belt allows me some freedom of movement and will likely allow me to walk when it's cold outside and my muscles won't freeze up. A surprise bonus is that it's comfortable enough to wear lying down. No more having to re-adjust the heating pad when I move. Battery life is great. It comes charged out of the box and I used it for a few hours last night and again this morning. Still doesn't need a charge.

With the caveat that I've had this for only one week, I am now submitting a RAVE review. I didn't expect to love this as much as I do. 2 recent trips to Calgary (egads: -41°c with windchill) sent me looking for some kind of portable/wearable heating device online. This one seemed like it might be perfect--but of course I was skeptical, especially upon reading some iffy reviews about the seller. We've all had those disappointing experiences on Amazon... and I was bracing for the claim-filing kerfuffle... but it arrived, well packaged, and honestly: I'm happily stunned with how fabulous it is. I am very slender: this fits perfectly, without an awkward misalignment or added overlap-bulk (though I can see there's plenty of room for larger girth, too). It feels streamlined and comfortable--using the battery pack, I don't notice any weight; just a lovely steady warmth. I have tended to adjust the heat (both front & back have 3 settings) as I wear it, mostly between High and Med, and the heat has outlasted my desire to wear it (2+ hours). I even love the plushy-soft hand-pocket in front, which I had dismissed as a gimmick. IF this thing is still working months from now, then I will order another as a gift for my mother. So far: worth every penny. And it was shipped in a timely manner (though the tracking# wasn't posted til later, which was temporarily worrisome.) This is leagues ahead of any heating pad or hot water bottle I've used in the past. I'm impressed with the product, and if the performance holds, I will buy more. [Watch the little video.
