My parent has several pieces of medical equipment that require electricity. A great alternative from a surge protector. When the time comes for the equipment to be returned, everything can be unplugged from one central location.

Not sure but within a year of using it, one night it just melted and there was a black hole at the back.Unfortunately, I threw the photo. I am disappointed that it worked less than a year.

I bought this surge proctor for my kitchen. It worked great & loved how I could plug items in on the side instead of always the front. The second one I bought for the basement didn’t fit because it was an outlet with a light switch side by side. The surge protector is about 1/4 - 1/3 inch too wide due to the light switch. I was still able to use it for my freezer area. Be sure to measure for where you want to place it. Very good quality
