As a parent concerned about my daughter's safety during sports, I was initially hesitant about purchasing the Unequal Halo 3 Lightweight Protective Headgear. However, after it was recommended to reduce the risk of head concussions, I decided to give it a try. I'm pleased to say that not only does it provide excellent protection with its military-grade patented composite and coated aramid fabric, but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and style. When my daughter put it on, it looked just like a regular headband, alleviating her worries about looking uncool. Most importantly, it gave her the confidence to engage fully in her sport, particularly when heading the ball. Knowing that she's protected allows her to focus on her game without fear of injury. Overall, I highly recommend the Unequal Halo 3 for any parent looking to prioritize their child's safety without sacrificing comfort or style.

My daughter is a 16 year-old soccer goalkeeper. After sustaining a severe concussion and sitting out for a month, we decided to find her something to help protect her during games. This is the first one we tried and we are glad we did. It looks like a thick headband and although she says it "squeezes" her head, she gets used to it after a while. I do recommend that it be taken off during halftime to give a break from the pressure. Since buying it, there have been two instances when she was involved in a big collision with a striker, so hard that the headband was knocked off both times. And she didn't get a concussion either time, so we are grateful for this product!

My teen daughter received concussion during soccer game. 2 months ago. We had bought another type/brand of headgear 2 years ago for prevention but she stopped wearing it after a few weeks b/c it caused her to feel overheated during games and self conscious of the design. Needed to find something to help reduce risk of a 2nd one. So far very happy with the unequal Halo 3. She’s worn it for games and practice for past 3 weeks and states it’s comfortable. She forgets it’s even on. Looks just like a headband. The Virginia Tech study supporting impact reduction for this model was a huge selling point for me. I recommend reading it. I understand no headgear can fully prevent a concussion. However headgear that has proven reduction of impact that my daughter happily will wear is money well spent in my book!

Bought it for my daughter and her teammate that both have gotten concessions. It is a great investment wish I would have bought it before and saved them both the pain. It should be required for soccer just like chin guards are. They both love the feel and comfort it provides. The only thing they both said is why black absorbs the heat from the sun and gets hot. Still they rather wear this one over others they have tried also black.
