Dragon Herbs does not use calcium carbonate. We used rice powder and calcium stearate. The active amount of pearl powder inside is 500mg, then we add rice powder if needed to fill the capsule, because pearl powder usually has a higher density. The calcium stearate was used to smooth the encapsulation, and it’s less than 2%. To answer your question better, yes the pearl powder is 100% ratio in terms of 500mg and the rice powder (filler) and calcium stearate (<2% of the entire capsule) are added to the capsule. The entire capsule is over 500mg. Please let us know if we can clarify anything else.

Additionally, it aids in absorbing oil and skin impurities, filters out UV rays and helps to prevent hyperpigmentation by slowing down the melanin production in the skin. Its antimicrobial properties are also known to remove blotches, acne, acne scarring, dry patches and rosacea as well as address sun damage. I use it for my daughters acne & my skin blotchy ness . I have heard you can also mix the powder ( empty a capsule ) with oil ( coconut oil is light, Argan oil is heavier ) to make a paste and apply that to the skin for 10-15 min and rinse off and that helps dry skin , but I have not tried it myself.

Where are the capsules made? Korea, Japan, China? does anyone know where the pearls are harvested from? thank you

THIS STUFF WORKS for mood, sleep, eyes, and skin!!! I'm the one with the serious health problems (57 y/o), but my 27 y/o tried some and we both noticed relaxed mood and sleepiness coming over us within 30 to 60 minutes of taking a dose, and i also notice eyesight improvement. Trust worthy pearl powder

I have tried other pearl powder. Dragon Herbs is the only one I can see a difference with. My skin looks better. My energy is more alert but calm at the same time. I also put a few capsules in my homemade toothpaste. Love it!
