I also had one of these filter wraps on my last K&N CAI kit and you just can't beat them. I don't mind spending money on my ride but this thing looks like a napkin for $30. Don't feel bad though, I had one of these on my truck's CAI for almost three years and they just work great! It keeps a lot of the small dust / junk out of your filter so it stays cleaner longer for better performance and the wrap can just be wiped down with a clean dry rag to keep it from adding restriction. When first installed it fits tight & takes a little careful work to get it on the filter. The elastic in each end will relax for a looser fit over a year or so but even then it never slipped off my filter and kept right on working great! It is worth the cost for the protection and good look you get from it, I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this item to cover the K&N Air Filter under the hood of my 2002 Tahoe. Fits like a glove on the conical shaped filter. It does the job and keeps large bugs from clogging up the air filter and ensures water does not soak it in the heavy rains as well Highly recommend, wish it was not so expensive, but worth it.

Wrap it up with class and gain longevity between service cleaning and K&N oil spray job.

Ein Must wenn man mit offenem Luftfilter auch bei Regen unterwegs ist. Merke keinen objektiven Leistunsverlust mit der Hülle (bei meinem V8 Camaro dürften 2 PS mehr oder weniger sowieso nicht weiter ins Gewicht fallen).Desweiteren verstaubt der Filter nicht so schnell und 'frisst' auch keine Fliegen, Bienen und sonstige fliegende 'Kleinteile'. Lediglich der Preis ist unverschämt hoch, deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Lo instale al CAI de un Camaro V8 y la verdad aun que no es algo que debes tener pero el extra en protección particularmente pars posible ingesta de agua lo vale además de que protege el filtro da más tiempo en intervalo de limpieza.

J'ai acheté ce cache filtre à air étant donné que je ne veux pas avoir de surprise par temps de pluie. C'est du sur mesure, mais à quel prix: un bête cache en matière synthétique au logo K&N pour 36.- € ????? Je pense que la marge bénéficiaire se situe aux alentours de 1000%. A mon humble avis, K&N devrait fournir cet accessoire d'origine avec ses kits d'admission. Bon, assez lamenté, mis à part le prix, c'est parfait.
