Emmie & Friends: Invisible Emmie: A Graphic Novel [Libenson, Terri, Libenson, Terri] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Emmie & Friends: Invisible Emmie: A Graphic Novel Review: Great Middle Grade Story - I read this to fulfill one of the Kindle reading challenges. It made me think of my granddaughter who is in the 7th grade. I'm going to buy her the physical version of the book. Great story with well written characters. Loved the drawings with all the little details diagrammed in them. I would have loved it as a young teen, and I really enjoyed it as a grandma. Review: Good book with an important lesson - Stylistically this book was very enjoyable for my 11-year-old daughter to read. Sometimes other books can seem like a bit of a bore or too much of a task to read, whereas the way this book is written was easy and enjoyable for her to get through quite easily. That was important to me because I think this book has an invaluable lesson for girls and boys her age to hear and learn. I think all parents should get this book for their kids to read and even read it with them. It was really cute and an all around great book!

I really liked this. Of the five comic-type books I recently ordered, this one is the most book-like, meaning the colorful comics sections are interspersed between the majority of pages that include narration and more muted-color drawings. This is a wholesome story with some great twist at the end. I think it would be a great one for parent and child to read together (perhaps sections at a time) to ensure understanding and facilitate dialogue. I will recommend this one for my 9 year-old grand daughters and look forward to hearing their thoughts. If they take to it, that might be helpful prior to the Middle School experiences they will certainly encounter. --G'ma Patty

I really connect.
I loved this story because I really connect with Emmie funny enough I have really smart friends lol. Emmie is quiet (like me) and can't really talk to anyone besides friends and especially can't talk to boys! It gives me hope that I can be confident like her in the end but until then I'll stick to my quiet life and still have a mutual amount of friends. All people should read invisible emmie to help them better understand that their not alone or better understand people more like Emmie so they can understand the quieter people better. And I can assure you that 60% of quiet people wanna feel even a tiny bit heard. If you liked this book you should watch the musical Dear Evan Hansen! 😊

Oh yeah!!
amazing book! i feel like this is a amazing book for.ages 8-12. very nice. invisible emmie is about a girl who is never noticed at school. she is unpopular, too. her mom has rules.against foods and is.very, VERY mustle-y. meanwhile, on katies perspective, kaitie is popular and seems to have almost the perfect life. emmie has a freind named brianna who is very smart. so, they dicide to write love notes to their crushes and then emmie drops hers. this annoying kid named joe picks it up and shows it to everyone. leaving it there for.the spoiler. read the book and find out what happens!! so long!! -Mrs. derp :-3
