We've ordered the smaller bottle from iHerb previously. The capsules were not entirely stuck together. The capsules in these two 300 capsule bottles are ENTIRELY stuck together. I've tried to pry capsules off, but they're stuck fast. How to eat this? Is the active ingredient still effective if the bottles have been kept in such lousy conditions that it arrives in an indistinguishable clump of capsules?

This one has a decent amount of vitamin D pills. It is not extremely potency and it is a good start for helping get my vitamin d levels to better average. It is less potent so I am not over doing it on vitamin d. The first thing I will say is that these pills are relatively small and clear gel. I just take one every day to maintain my vitamin D level up. It is suggested you take one a day if needed but this really meant to give you a little boost vitamin D but nothing out of the normal range. You can take more if needed but consult with a doctor. It is fairly easy to swallow and does not need much water but I still down a glass of water every time I take this. The pills are smooth and they do not stick to each other. In term of effects, I got a blood test and my levels were maintained which is great (although I do walk outside as well). The pills do give me a good amount of energy and also improved my mood throughout the day. I did not feel as down and drained. I would definitely recommend this if you want a bit of a positive boost as vitamin D does effect your mood. It is just a pill a day. It is recommend you have a meal with it to make it easier to process but not required. It takes time for this to really effect you if want to just maintain your vitamin D level. It is inexpensive and provides you a good amount of vitamin d. It has had no adverse effect on my stomach and has been easy to digest. Overall this is a simple but effective vitamin d pill. You just take on a day and your levels should even out if you are low. It has given me a bit more energy over time and it did not effect my stomach.

Resonably priced, like the gel type. Easy to swallow. Is effective as my D3 has increased in blood work. No side effects.

These Vitamin D3 supplements are easy to take and the 1000 IU dose is convenient for daily use. The tablets are small and easy to swallow, and I like getting a large bottle with 300 tablets. Overall, a good value and a simple addition to my daily routine.
