So far this lighter has worked great. It arrived fast, with a good charge, and works perfectly. I haven't seen one like this, and it does have a very unique spark pattern. It works just like the picture shows it, its actially pretty wild to watch while using. The spark pattern moves as if there is a tiny fan spinning, but there are no moving parts, and it does ignite objects instantly. I haven't had any issues with mine so far, so I would recommend this.

The build quality is good the button press is a little wonky. The arc is good. The issue with mine is when you press the button you have to slide your finger up to get it to turn on. 🤔

After I charged it full, it lit up as soon as I pulled it off the charging cord, didn't even press the button. After that I couldn't get it to work. It's too bad because it looked really cool when it worked.

The lighter works as shown. Makes a cool spinning circle of plasma. But residue from the inevitable tiny bits of ash that gets on the metal prongs quickly gums up everything and stops it from producing the circle of plasma. They then have to be scraped clean to work properly. The only way to prevent it is to never let any part of the cigarette tip touch the lighter while using it, which is near impossible. It’s cool. It’s fun. But it’s not practical.

Fun lighter but it's micro USB

I have an affinity for lighters. I collect them in all shapes and sizes. Most of them are fueled with Butane. I actually have 2 electric arc/plasma lighters already. One is a single arc, the other is a X-cross arc. This one is unique in that the arc is "spinning". It has all of the features you would want: lightweight, windproof, waterproof, flameless, USB rechargeable, (note Micro-USB, not universal USB-C), and of course, (fuel-free). It is well made and looks very sleek. You can just hear the electric arc when it is activated. It is well packaged in a presentable gift box with charging cable and instructions. It shuts itself off after about 10 seconds. The top of the lighter needs to be closed and re-opened to use it again. The lighter has a shiny, sleek finish. It comes in a presentable case with charging cable, instructions and a cleaning brush. Overall, I find this lighter to be of excellent quality and recommend it as either a gift to someone deserving or a present for yourself.
