I bought these to mount to the back of my entertainment unit where I have a playstation 4, and an amplifier in close proximity to one another without much air space. So I cut holes in the back, and mounted these, and have them blowing outwards. And both devices seem quite happy as a result. If I ever find the time, I might create a small little microcontroller to automatically turn them on and speed them up based on temperature, but like many people: NO TIME!

I have a Mac Mini that overheats up to 106 degrees Celsius. I installed this fan under the computer and it immediately dropped the temperature by 17 degrees It was so quiet I thought it wasn’t working
