Nl4xf connector i thought was a female. picture shows a male. can you tell me what the female version of this connector is?

These are the connectors designed to be used with speaker cabinets, and amplifiers equipped with NL4 type connectors. These are nomenclature as Female, and the cabinet/amp types are called Male. If you are using these with an NL4 equipped amp, and speaker cabinets, this is what you want for your cable ends.

Can these be used on a car audio sub box?

No. Just 1 per pack. 10 is the MAX size thickness of cable, or 10 awg cable for speakers.

What type of conductor/cable that can be use for this: gauge and brand? i recently bought a jbl vrx915s and i want to run some custom length wire.

Le Hoan, These are 4 pole connectors so, for example, a 12 gauge 4 conductor cable will be the cleanest way to make your cables, as you'll have a single rubber housing with the 4 conductors in it. The wire gauge will be determined by the length of the cables you need. You can google that information very easily. Hope this helps
