Chenyang Internal 2Pin USB 3.0 Female Mount Panel to Motherboard 20pin Cable with PCI Bracket

I bought this to be able to use all four USB3 ports on the Inateck PCIe to USB3 card I got for my HP EliteDesk 800 G2 small form factor PC. The Inateck card has two USB3 ports on the bulkhead side but can support two more ports with an adapter like this one. As I said in the title, it was easy to install, fits perfectly, and works flawlessly. It needs an open bulkhead slot but it doesn't take up a PCIe slot, no electronics, just simple electrical wiring connections.

My motherboard came with two USB connectors but only one cable. Since I was running out of USB ports, and didn’t want to add a hub I checked the documentation and found out all I really needed was this cable. It’s the perfect length, made of high quality materials, and the bracket fits well on the back. Way cheaper than adding a separate USB expansion card - and my port is 3.0 (very fast).

I got this because I finally decided that I was not going to let the motherboard USB header just sit there, while I was busy fiddling with exchanging cables to external USB devices. I installed this, attached a USB hub to both outputs, and suddenly I had 8 more USB ports. Of course, I have to be careful to use mostly low power devices on them, or I can expect them to teach me the error of my ways.

Very tight fit, I struggled to get it plugged in without bending or breaking things. That does mean it won't fall out! Once it was plugged in and mounted it worked perfectly with no issues.

I have a computer case that came with a pair of USB 2 ports, using the same screw width as this. So, I didn't actually need the end-plate. I just needed USB 3 connectors but that would work with my case. I just unscrewed the USB2 ports that came with the case, screwed this into the case and worked perfect.

I paired this with a PCIe card that had a USB 3.0 header to add some additional USB ports to my HYTE Y60 build. The Y60 has low profile PCIe slots for everything except the GPU and this bracket fit just fine.

The mounting bracket/panel and the USB device came separately, which required assembly by the user. But, I noticed that the assembly was virtually impossible because the holes in the mounting bracket/panel were too small. Unless I straightened the tough metal edges of the USB jacks, they would not fit the small holes in the bracket. Then, the USB jacks would be severely damaged. So, I returned the product. Ease of installation: The worst ... & perhaps impossible

Habe das USB 3.0 Slotblech am entsprechenden Anschluss meines msi MoBo's angeschlossen und die gemessenen Transferraten liegen an der Systemgrenze der Schnittstellendefinition, hier gibt es also nix zu meckern. Das Kabel war auch ausreichend lang um es bequem am Board anzuschließen. Die beiden Buchsen sind weit genug voneinander entfernt, so dass auch beriete Kabel oder Devices hier parallel nebeneinander eingesteckt werden können. Meine Kaufempfehlung habt ihr dafür, zumal das Teil mit einem Preis unter 10€ sehr preiswert war.

This low profile bracket fits perfectly in my slim PC, and both USB 3.0 ports work fine. The only minor drawback is that the ports are situated quite close to each other, so a fat USB device could partially block the other port.

Muy buen cable, en calidad como en diseño, funciona perfectamente, lo único que tuve que devolverlo porque lo quería para una parte puntual del frente del PC y no me coincidió por escasos milímetros en la separación de los USB
