Polar Flawless Clear Lacquer Spray, 400ml, Clear, Satin Finish

This lacquer spray is quality, very smooth flow from the spray, very easy to use, the gloss lacquer spray gives a lovely shiny finish, you get a decent coverage for each can, just one thing if your using it indoors just make sure you have plenty of ventilation, it is a pretty strong smell, but it's worth the money. !!!

The Polar Flawless Lacquer Matt Spray has proven to be an excellent choice for my custom plastic paint job on a spa outlet, ensuring durability and longevity without chipping or washing off despite being in daily use. Applying the spray at room temperature provided excellent coverage, and it dried evenly, leaving a desirable matte finish that matches my matt black bathroom components (I combined with Hycote Matt black paint). The spray nozzle's easy control facilitated a smooth application process, contributing to a professional-looking result. It's crucial to highlight the importance of safety precautions. As indicated in the MSDS sheet, using the correct respirator mask and working in a well-ventilated area is advised due to the strong fumes emitted during application, it took some time for the smell to leave my workshop so I wouldn’t advise using this at home indoors unless you could adequately ventilate. Having installed the lacquered parts a month ago, I'm pleased to report that there are no signs of the lacquer failing. The durability and resilience it has demonstrated thus far give me confidence in the long-lasting quality of the paint job. Great stuff I up cycled a huge plastic plant pot and protected the freshly sprayed paint with this. Water resistant and gave a lovely Matt finish. Very happy with the result.

Only bought because it was the only one that would arrive next day at the time. Went on ok and is very clear. However I found it hasn’t dried / hardened very well and is more of a rubbery coating. There are better brands for the price and will be going back to Hycote brand in the future.

Very easy to use - slight smell, but nothing to write home about, it’s gone in less than a minute anyway. Spray is accurate, fine rather than thick. Not drops or leaks. I’ve been giving my garden a bit of a makeover which has included painting vases and pebbles - I bought this to finish it off. Definitely recommend.

This laquer is very easy to use. I bought 2 cans and used it to laquer an oak bannister rail. I sprayed it onto the bare wood and it covered really well. I gave it 4 coats, but one of the cans was faulty and I couldn't get it to stop spraying so wasted nearly half a can. The bannister looked great when I'd finished, although the satin finish was more of a gloss. Although it dried quickly (touch dry in about 30 mins) it seems to take a long time for the laquer to harden. I had to leave the rail for 2 days before I could handle it without leaving finger marks in the laquer. In future I'll leave it longer between coats and see if that helps.

I bought this product for work on my GW Dark Angels Army that I am currently working on and have been very satisfied with the end result. I do use another clear matte finish designed for miniatures, but I had been looking for another clear matte finish that would protect my miniatures as much as possible from damage. This is important since it takes a great deal time and effort for just one miniature. In the end, this produced the effect that I needed and the protection to keep the paint from chipping. I am very satisfied and will purchase this again when I need to.

Haftet gut, trocknet schnell und lässt sich gut verarbeiten. Ich habe habe damit ein kleines Holz-Gartenhaus für unsere Katzen behandelt, damit es noch etwas wetterfester wird. Sprüht tropffrei und ist nach wenigen Minuten trocken und klebt nicht. Absolut farblos wie beschrieben.

Works fine. More glossy than I would have liked, but was able to coat with true matte finish. Dries quickly and without runs. Longevity is yet to be determined. I use this to coat cleaned and glued skulls of animals for display. The coating helps to seal in residual moisture to keep teeth and bones from cracking, while blocking any lingering odors. Made in the UAE. Had I know that...would not have bought.

Ich benötigte eine Versiegelung, um gelaserte Schiefer-Untersetzer etwas robuster zu machen und fand den glänzenden Standard-Klarlack nicht passend, da er den Charakter der Schieferplatte zerstört, also hab ich mich an dieses Spray getraut und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Untersetzer sehen wirklich toll aus, sind unempfindlicher und verlieren ihren Charm nicht. Klar, der Preis könnte ein wenig geringer sein, aber immerhin komm ich bei nur einer Schicht pro Untersetzer recht weit mit einer Dose. Für mich passt es also und ich kaufe sie sicher wieder!
