Napoleon F45 Hand Held Fireplace Remote with On/Off Control, N/A

This remote was recommended for my gas stove. I did not know until recently that I could add such a thing. Very easy to install, good instructions and worked the first time we tried it. This remote really makes a difference. Now I don't have to stand over a very hot stove, reach around back and turn it off. Love it!

Works very well with my Continental gas fireplace. Simple to use. My old remote allowed me to set the room temperature for auto cutoff. This one just has on and off button but that's all I need.

Lost the original remote control for our direct vent fireplace by Napoleon. Fairly easy to sync with fireplace unit. Only negative is that is does not have the ability to set a temperature for fireplace to recycle automatically. That function was not available. However, happy to have the remote so I can have my home office warm in our very cold 2026 winter here in Michigan.

Seems to work correctly

Used this unit to replace an old remote which was repeatedly failing (not a battery issue). I contacted Napoleon and they said that the remotes / receivers will periodically need to be replaced. I thought that was a little silly, but the new unit works great and looks very modern compared to the original remote. Simple on off operation, and works every time. Very happy.

I put this in the wall next to the fireplace. It was easy to install. I then programmed my Bond Hub to control it via Amazon Echo devices. My only issue is that the cover plate is a little shallow and doesn't sit flush against the wall because I had to use an old work switch box. I tried shaving the inside of the plate but it still needs some work. Otherwise an awesome product.

it didn't work

It would help to have the on and off buttons easily seen in low light - perhaps different colors. I've added simple paint dots to mine. My dog and I like to watch movies in the evening with the lights low and the simple 1 and 0 don't cut it.

This package came much quicker than originally estimated and it was exactly what we needed to fix our failing Napoleon fireplace part. Took seconds to install and worked perfectly!

The remote was received before the projected delivery date and was exactly as advertised and operated well, easy to install

Product as advertised. Be aware there are 2 different remotes available with this unit. One only has ON/OFF and the other type has a temperature setting button as well.

installed this to replace a main on/off switch, works perfectly with our older Napoleon fireplace.

Great quality. It’s exactly the same model I had before but my old remote died off so it was easy for me to connect it.
