Works great too bad the store is not open yet
We purchased this device for a friend who has plans of opening a book store. Upon his opening it we proceeded to set it up and try it out on his laptop and it worked perfectly. Only problem is we are still waiting on him to open his bookstore! Iโm sure we could tell you more if he actually opened the store. It was listed for a very reasonable price.

Great Barcode Reader
I bought this to replace a corded barcode reader for my M1 Mac. I use it in conjunction with FileMaker and it does a superb job. The scanner is lightweight, easy to hold and features a blue light on top to indicate that it's ready to scan and has both auto off and a barcode command to turn it off immediately. The trigger button has a quality feel to it. It is recharged via a USB-B port (the connector type you find on most printers and scanners). Mine can handle several hundred scans a day and only goes down 1% in power (battery level accessed via a barcode command). It comes with a USB-A to USB-B cord for charging. The scanner wirelessly connects to your computer (or other device) via a USB dongle, similar to what many wireless mice and keyboards use. It's more in the shape of a large flash drive though. The width is somewhat wider than a typical USB connector so if your USB ports share a tight space you may have to put it on the end or make space for it. I have mine connected to a powered hub. The dongle has a blue light to indicate it is functioning. (See my photo for size comparison to flash drives and Logitech Unifying Receiver... scanner's dongle is at top of image with opened cap.) The scanner comes with a frequently-used barcode command card in the style and material of a credit card, which is handy. The 38 page user manual is filled with other barcode commands like switching between barcode types, changing the sound level of the beep, manual/continuous, duplicate detection, case sensitivity, prefix/suffix, language, etc. It also features two modes: upload and storage. Upload sends the code contents immediately and storage allows you scan and store until you get back to a computer to upload them all at once. I don't need the storage option but have tested it in Excel, it will dump one code, pause ever so slightly and then dump another code until it is finished. Be sure to put this manual in a safe place for the command codes! This barcode scanner has far more abilities than any other scanner I've owned. I don't think I'll even use half of them, but they are nice to have. So far this is the best scanner I've owned and I would recommend it.

Easy to use & connect to one another.
Great value, well made. Super easy set upโฆ Easy to connect to one another. (Used at a conference - three scanners going at the same time - to scan people into sessions to track CEUs. Worked perfectly.

Updated loves it
I ordered this to start a personal library catalog. The ONLY thing this scanner did, read a barcode, scanned it, and gave me a string of numbers on a word document. IF I have to sit there and write down each book title, I can do that with pen and paper. I want something that will scan a book, give a picture and the title. I want simple read to data table. Update 2025 I saved the scanner. I searched for apps or anything to use this. I finally found libib. I started scanning the books. No issue. I have a picture of the cover. The author. I silenced the beeps, cause that drives me nuts. This was worth keeping Update: 2025 I saved it after I started the return process. However! I use the app Libib. Easy to use and navigate on both internet and my phone. I can make categories. I hook the reader to the usb. I scanned over 200 nooks. Maybe a dozen or so didn't scan to the app. But the barcode did scan. I recomend this thing and libib to anyone who is a reader

First impressions, it works.
I like it's ease of use and it's quick scanning, the ability to either upload now or later is a huge plus. What I disliked was the first unit I purchased has a connection issue, fortunately, I was able to get a replacement from Amazon the next day. My use for this is inventory management of unique items that need to be cataloged, in this case it's vintage clothing. To elaborate on what happened when I first got my scanner, the usb plug worked, the scanner wouldn't connect to it. Rather than sending a message to NADAMOO for the replacement, it was easier to ask for a replacement from Amazon. Amazon Sent the replacement the next day and picked up the defective unit. The replacement works great, and overall this is a good investment for my purposes. I will update this review in about 6 to 12 months. One final note, this will NOT scan 2D codes such as QR codes, Matrix, ect... This is just for classic liner codes. Hope this helps you!

Works ok with the cable connection
Bluetooth goes into sleep mode often which makes it unreliable when we are in a rush. I had to wire it into the PC
