How the practice test items are so arranged--from easy to challenging ones--provided me a good warm-up in answering those items. The listening transcripts were a great help to find spoken words that I missed. The sample essays are a useful guide on how to perform well the writing tasks under time constraint. I found the reading passages very informative and interesting. The downloadable recordings show what would give a lower or higher score. Overall, my experience with completing the practice tests has given me a lot of confidence to take the real IELTS test! I definitely would recommend Simones' Practice Tests to those asked to take IELTS as requirement for employment or higher study purpose.

The 5 practice tests give my kids a feeling of the real test - the difficulties and limited time. It serves as a good starting point for one to know what to improve focus, as well as a final preparation exercise to enforce what one have learnt.

The tests are very helpful. I practiced from this book as mock tests for IELTS exams. The listening tapes are very clear and the tests include all types of questions that we can expect in exam.

Extremely useful to practice with material actually used for IELTS exams. I've bought this book because I had had a very good experience using the previous book of the series ("Academic Set 1") and I am very happy I have done so.

セット１から３までまとめて購入しました。ペーパーバック版とデジタル版があります。印刷の手間と練習復習用として使用するということを鑑みペーパーバック版を購入しました。模擬試験として使用する場合はデジタル版を購入された方が良いかなと思います。内容については他の方もコメントされていますが、公式の問題集と比較するとリスニングは難しく、リーディングは割合簡単なような気がします。それでも、個人的にはリーディングは１から３へと問題が徐々に難しくなっているような印象を受けました。また、リスニング、リーディングともに多岐の分野から、そして様々な問題形式で出題されるので自分の得意、不得意分野を知ることができ、試験への対策を考えることができます。試験対策に迷っている人におすすめです。

I bought this book sometime ago and it was the best decision I made. It extensively covers all that a student should know and practice to achieve a high band. Would recommend this for students looking to do well in IELTS.
