12 European Countries in 22 Days: Worked Like a Champ
This is a data-only SIM (no voice or text) for use in tablets and mobile access points. It worked great on our trip to Europe. We traveled through 12 countries in 22 days and were happy with the service. Activation was simple: swap SIM, reboot Apple iPad, wait a few minutes for activation. The rental car company wanted a ridiculous surcharge to include a GPS with our vehicle - upwards of $130 for the duration of our rental. Instead, I bought this SIM for my iPad and used it for Waze navigation with the added bonus of being able to use it for all our other data needs while in Europe. We were able to tether our other three iPhones to this iPad and share the 12-gig pool of data among all the devices while in the car. We didn't always have service but that's to be expected: Europe doesn't have quite the coverage we are used to in the United States. Performance, too, was less than we are used to in our home state of Florida. Still, no real complaints. Never were we without a signal for more than a few minutes as we were driving around. In big cities (London, Paris, Rome, etc.), coverage and speed were great. Compared to what it would have cost to use our Verizon phones in Europe - or renting a GPS from Europcar - this SIM is an amazing deal. Don't come home to crazy mobile bills: get this SIM before you leave for Europe. (If you need voice, text and data, grab this SIM for your phone instead.)

This card worked as advertised!
I took a 3 week trip to Europe in June 2017 and this card was great to have. I have an unlocked phone (Asus) using T-Mobile in the USA. I didn't want to pay roaming charge on my trip so I got this SIM card. Because this is 3GB of data (only, no voice or text) and last for 3 months, I tested it out in the US before my trip. It worked, and was plug and play (just put the SIM card into the phone and it worked, I was able to get my Whatsapp as well as surf the internet and my apps worked). It is only 3G in all countries, except for 4G in the UK...which is fine with me. The coverage was spotty sometimes (similar/relative to my T-Mobile coverage in the US), but again, for the price paid, it was more than adequate most of the time. It worked for my trip to UK, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Sweden. The only country it didn't work was in Russia. I was on a Baltic cruise ship and it even worked on the ship quite a bit as we were near the coast/land a lot of the time so it was able to pick up signal from shore and especially when we were in the ports (a big plus since internet on cruise ships are so expensive). So if you are going to travel to Europe, you should get this...can't beat the price for what you get!

So far it workd as advertised
I bought this card to use in the US and in Europe. Its suppose to be good for an entire 365 days so we shall see if it lasts until August 1, 2020 (if I use data sparingly) 1. Easy to install. I just popped in the new sim card. Turned on data roaming and in a few seconds I was getting data in the US. I have been using it for 2 days now and it is working flawlessly. 2. I tested out its hotspot capability and my wifes samsung was able to link to my hotspot. So that works too. I will report back and let you know how it performs in the long run...and on my multi country trip to Europe Update. The sim worked flawlessly in the US during the 2 weeks I was there. Once in a while i had to restart my phone to wake it up. Update. I arrived in Germany. I RESTARTED my phone, turned mobile data ON and turned Roaming ON..and I got connected. So far so good. (Update) I am now in Italy and the sim is working although not in every spot. Seems like some of the more remote places like up in the mountains while hiking..no data. But in the city no problems. I stopped into a vodaphone store to price compare. They had a deal...2 sim cards...ONLY ONE month service...lots of data...60 euros. A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE!!! (Of course they are in ludington phone calls which this card does not) (Update) I am in Switzerland and still am getting decent connections in the towns and cities. Forget about signal if you are hiking in the hills or away from towns. It works well enough to watch a YouTube movie. I'm using it mainly for Google maps to find train/bus connections and to Google tourist attractions for info and to message my wife if we ever get sepatated So far so good. (Update) works in Metz France. Poor connection outside city In remote rural areas. When I pass the border into a new country I keep getting text messages saying I have a maximum of 15 gigs of data with this sim. Not the 12 gigs advertised. Not sure which is correct (Update.) Working in Luxembourg and Begium. In Luxembourg ORANGE STORES were selling data only sim cards...9€ for 5 gigs for 30 days. So a little better deal than this sim But in Belgium ORANGE was 15 euro for 4 gigs plus 4000sms and 50 mins of calling. So ORANGE was a better deal Works well in Amsterdam Works throughout Spain UPDATE OCT 4, 2021 Going to Europe again so I bought this same 365 day card..12 gigs of data. I tested it in the USA I shut off my Samsung. Removed my old sim Inserted the new sim I just got. Turned my phone back on Made sure mobile data was on And IT CONNECTED RIGHT AWAY. So far so good If it works as well as it did in Europe as it did 2 years ago, I won't have to keep buying sim cards at the end of every month in EU. This card is suppose to be good for One whole Year (total if 12-15 gigs) So if i just use it for maps and sending messages. I should not run out of data even if I am in the EU for 4 months UPDATE DEC. 6, 2021 Just retuened from 2 months in Europe using my newly purchsed sim. I visited 3 countries..Greece, Italy and France and this sim worked like a charm in each country. As soon as the plane landed it texted me to let me know it had switched countries. Its not alwauys fast and occasionally in remote parts of Sicily the connection was poor to none... but it allowed me to buy train tickets, use google maps and google tourist attractions on the go. Now to see how long it will last. Too bad it doesnt work in Thailand which is where I am headed in a month L9ving it

Dead after 45 days and less than 1gb of data
Updated review, 02/18/2019 - Now the facts come out. The sim card may actually be usable for 12 months, but the service needs to be topped up every 30 days, at a (current) cost of 30 euros per month. So, my experiment was a bust and I spent too much for one month of data (I used about 1 GB). I decided not to top up my account and instead chose a verizon plan for less money that also includes 3 gb of data per month and voice and text messages, too. Updated review, 02/15/2019 - Sadly, Sim stopped working today, roughly 45 days after starting. Turns out it was too good to be true. I'll update if it comes back to life. Glad that I was not far from home. Easy installation on my Samsung Galaxy S4, easy activation (note: it may take a bit of time (hours) to actually see data working on your phone, and true 4G LTE data mode. There were some APN and network settings for my Android phone, but just followed the instructions to the T and no problemo. This may be a phenomenal savings for 12 GB of data over 365 days, if it still works until all the data is consumed. Will update this review after a couple of months to report on the longevity of the plan. Coverage in the USA seems to be on T-Mobile towers. I have not ventured into any of the other countries listed.

CHANGE YOUR APN TO three.co.Uk
I purchased this sim to be used in cruise ports for an upcoming Mediterranean cruise. I received it promptly and inserted it in my iPad Air. Since I am in the US I wanted to test it out first. Immediately it connected to my AT&T data network. However, when I tested it t I kept getting a message that there was no data plan. This sim comes with 3gb of data good for up to 3 months. I had to change the apn to three.co.Uk a d then it worked. I think anyone having problems should know this. I contacted Internet with legs and was told first of all I had no data purchased. Finally after much chatting and providing all the information on the sim and my Amazon purchase I was told two things - I don't need to change the APN which said RESELLER - and it would take up to 24 hours for the data to be added. WRONG! Thanks to Sim-Marketing who responded to my many emails and provided excellent information I DID have to change the APN to three.co.uk and I was immediately able to use cellular data. Sim-Marketing is excellent in their response. I SUGGEST YOU CHANGE THE APN well at least if you are using an iPad Air! Bottom line if this sim works in Europe like everyone says it does I will be able to communicate back home from cruise ports instead of paying the exorbitant cost of cruise ship wifi or wandering aimlessly searching for free wifi.

The speed is not as expected. Max. 3G.
I bought this to use it in Iceland. The Sim Card was easy to install and get it connected. The problem was that when it got connected the maximum speed was 3G which was slow for there. I contacted support and they told me that is the fastest I could get out of it there and everywhere else in Europe which was not acceptable and I had to send it back. I wish it was working because it was easy to get it started.

Great, but don’t buy expecting to use it a 365 days from activation
I bought this product for use in Germany (Munich and Berchtesgaden), and Austria (Salzburg) in my unlocked iPhone 6S (Yes, it does work with phones despite what they insist in the Amazon product QA). In the main city areas I received a solid 3G connection which was fast enough to browse the Internet, navigate and stream YouTube. Overall, I’d say very reliable connection and speed. The price was about $40 cheaper than a 5 day WiFi device rental, so excellent value there. Over my 11 day trip I was only able to use about 6 gigs, and that was trying hard. I was hoping I could use the remaining data for trips next year, but apparently 365 day usage refers to calendar days—the website says data expires in January of the following year regardless of when you activated it. Major disappointment there. The nice thing about this card, which I’m unsure if you can do with their cheaper cell phone specific SIM card, is that you can enable personal hotspot and use your phone as a WiFi device for your other electronics. Overall I would purchase another card from them again when no other more convenient/more affordable options are available.

I'm giving thus full blown stars bc 2 EZ
I loved that you can buy it, hold on to it for a while, stick it in when in the vicinity of UK ip space and it just works while in UK. Have to come back here to Germany it still just works with the UK number associated with SIM. If this sim works while I travel thru Europe to other places it might be the most valuable overlooked option available. So nice not needing customer service, take tons of selfies or give a scammed wet dream job all your info just to have a backup sim when you travel primarily for directions and built in apps. No clue if the service is the best everywhere though so I may have gotten ahead of myself because of ease of setup and quality data I'm using to write this very review! Recommend over locamobel or Vodafone so far.

The sim card doesn't work.
The sim card doesn't work. I needed tech support to activate it and now, it shows 0$ credit so it's useless on my trip. I've had numerous exchange with the vender. Waiting on a fix

Saves you the legwork
This card is fantastic. I popped it into my phone on the plane before landing in the UK and it picked up 3's signal immediately upon arrival. I used it mostly for data, but you also get a UK Phone number. I never attempted to make a call, but I know that sending and receiving SMS does not work. Worked well throughout the UK and mainland Europe, including Switzerland. Speed dropped a few times outside the UK, but it was good enough for maps and directions and email. If you walk into any UK grocery store, you will find several disposable cards with different plans. In Italy, this same card costs about 10euro (a third of the price), but apparently, that price is available only there. If you are travelling to Italy, you might want to wait until you get there to buy one. I did not want to go through the hassle of finding a disposable SIM.
