Good fitment

Do not buy! I installed it and I tried to open the tailgate and this thing butterfly, it is so wobbly and loose it does not function. It is made so cheap with plastic paper thin washers and it's still is floppy. When I lift up on the latch the part that engages the lever to open the gate just moves forward of the lever doesn't even touch it it's so loose. This thing is basically a desk model mock-up. There is no practical way this item can be used or function. I had to buy a grinder to remove my truck bed liner because the bolts were frozen otherwise I would have not missed my window to return this rip off piece of junk.

This well-made kit was precisely as advertised. It installed quickly and easily. It fit perfectly.

It fits great but you get what you pay for.

When that tailgate handled gets broke, this is what you replace it with total metal. Delivery was very fast.

Honestly, this latch is horrible. I was going to give it a poor rating after installing it this morning, but now that it has set in full sun for a few hours, it is totally INOPERABLE. The first thing I noticed was that the mounting base metal was about half the thickness of the original. It wasn't until I tried to open it the first time that I noticed the whole handle, and thus half the operating mechanism, is PLASTIC. Apparently now that it has set in the sun for a while, the plastic is so soft it won't operate at all, only flexes. As for the trim piece included, it's also poor fitting, with a noticeable bow across the top. Hopefully I can get the original latch handle freed up; I have it soaking in penetrating oil now and hope to reinstall it - even if I have to drill out the original rivet and replace it with a shoulder bolt or a binding barrel. This new latch has a date with the scrap bin. PS - While trying to straighten the bow across the top of the trim, it snapped in half.

Do not buy this handle or bezel the handle is awful quality it's plastic handle with cheap metal arms and the rivit is loose in the middle so the arms don't work tried bending them to see if they would work but nothing and the bezel it self dosnt fit right either causing me to break it trying to get it on returned them not worth it at all
