Easy to use, Zero problems
I needed a way to attach some decorative LED edison light strings to ceiling joices. My first attempt, I used a traditional Arrow staple gun with all metal staples. This resulted in several instances of me peircing the cable with misfired staples. I decided that traditional metal staples were not the ideal solution, and then I stumbled upon this staple gun. I painstakingly removed and replaced all the metal staples with these staples and I was quite happy I did. The gun was easy to use, didn't jam once, and I wasted exactly 1 staple through the whole ordeal. My only gripe is that, even the smallest size staples were still far too large for the small diameter cable for something like string lights or christmas lights. This means that you need to pull the string of lights tight because the actual staple is not going to hold the string firm like a traditional staple would. This stapler and the staples that fit appear to be better designed for rounded cables and NOT for flat cables. That doesn't mean it won't work, it just means there will be some play in the cable. I'm not sure how I've gone so long without owning one of these. It's worth the investment, even for the average homeowner who occasionally has to run a cable, temporary or permanent.

Versatile
Picked this up just intending to use it for a job running a bunch of ethernet cable and was pleasantly surprised at all of the other things I can attach with it. It's great for coax cables as well, outdoor Cat6 with the heavy insulation, even 14ga power cables and anything else in that size range. Staples get a good grip when you get them driven in good, the only downside is that the big clunky nose on it makes it hard to stick a cable in some of those tight places you want to hide cables. Not a replacement for the T25, they both have their distinct uses and if you run a lot of cable you should probably own both.

Great Tool for Wiring Coax, Network Cable and Similar Size Cables
This tool is solid and works flawlessly. I used it to network my whole house and never had an issue. I used the "clear" color Arrow Fastener 591189 Genuine T59 Insulated Clear 5/16-Inch by 5/16-Inch Staples, 300-Pack staples and they worked great with this tool for tacking network cable. I think the smaller size 1/4" x 1/4" stables may work a bit better, but I could only find them in black. One of the other reviews I read says it doesn't drive the staples all the way in, but mine does without any gap at all. It's possible they got a defective unit. Pros ------------- + Made in the USA! + Very sturdy construction, it's basically 100% stainless steel + Tacks cable evenly every time, mine drives the staple all the way in + No electrical cord or batteries to worry about, it just works + Will probably last forever Cons ------------- - Not really a con because I knew this when I purchased it, but it doesn't seem to be able to accept smaller size staples for electrical or audio wiring. I think Arrow makes another tool for that, but it would be nice to have an all-in-one solution.

Works fine. Too bad mine was stolen within a week.
I've had Arrow T18, T25 T50 ant T75 staplers over the last 40 years. I loaned my T25 out a few years ago and the person and my stapler evaporated. I bought this T25 to install fiberglass insulation in some new construction... a friend added a bedroom to his house. We completed the installation over a weekend. The following weekend my car was broken into and my tool bag stolen, and this staple gun was in it. It was nice while it lasted.
