I’ve now used a number of this product over the last couple of years and they work extremely well. I hang them at about 8ft up a tree around 10ft away from the back door (which is where all the flies come in when the dogs are let out). It usually takes 4 or 5 days for the momentum to start and then the bodies start piling up. There are usually a few thousand flies in there after 3-4 weeks. I tend to use 4 plastic bags for disposal - put it in one back, tie it up, another bag over the top, tie it up etc. Still stinks though & best done on the night before the bin gets collected/emptied. Some of the earlier traps came with a water fill line, but recent ones haven’t. I tend to fill up to around 6-7 inches of water (from the bottom upwards).

I would have given this zero stars if that was an option. This product did not work. The box stated full instructions were included. There were no instructions. I have used similar products before which have worked well. This product had no fill mark. Previously the liquid had been a very dark colour and had a strong smell. This product was a very light colour and had no odour. A week into use no flies caught. Total waste of money. A refund would be appreciated.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when reading the reviews but so happy I ordered. It was really pretty grim the sheer volume of flies these traps caught but they were a godsend in the summer. They were worth every penny spent. They took a day or 2 to get going but once they did it was incredible. Completely eliminated our fly issue. I personally didn’t find the smell bad but I did position the trap about 5 ft from the door. Will be buying more just in case for next summer.

Didnt attract flys to start with I thought I put too much water in as there were no instructions so added the 2nd sachet... collected lots of flies and the string snapped contents all over the patio... unusable after that.

I underestimated when people reviewed how disgusting this product smells when full of dead flies. Also when the flies lay eggs inside which I didn't allow to hatch before throwing the product away. A very successful product, the flies were drawn in, but I could only use for two weeks before the smell was overwhelming. If you have a small garden like me, this product is probably not the best idea, as the smell reached every corner. However if you have a big enough garden that you can put it at the back and forget it, it should be great...

Pretty - much does all it claims to do. Kills a large number of flies without poisoning you [ I wore gloves while opening the packet you pour into the container]. OK it can't/won't attract-and-kill all of the flies. My only quibble would be that after a couple of weeks the illustration showing huge numbers of dead flies seems very ambitious.

Bought these 2 years ago and highly pleased with them. Bought again this year and very poor in comparison. There are no instructions so had to guess from previous purchase on how much water to add. Powder not as strong so had to put both sachets in 1 bag. 1 bag now of no use.

This product is a good product because I’ve had it before, but the only problem was it had no instructions with it so you didn’t know how much water to add

Déçu par l'appâts de ce piège à mouches. J'ai eu des pièges équivalent qui au bout de quelques jours dégageaient une odeur nauséabonde, mais qui attiraient beaucoup mieux les mouches !

On ne peut pas mettre 0. Produit inutile donc ai mis recharge mouchclac sauf que le couvercle s'est cassé au bout d une semaine et tout s est renversé. On sait pourquoi c est moins cher. Fuyez
