Smells great, actually works
Went camping for the weekend and did not get bitten by one mosquito! Over the course of the three days I used the soap, only 2 flies landed on me. Overall a good product, the rest of the bugs didn't seem to care, but they didn't bite, so a win is win, will definitely buy again. The citronella smell is strong, but pleasant; no skin irritation, lathered well, and didn't dry me out. I thought the size was small for $10, but it lasts. 2 people 6 showers over 3 days and it still has the same shape of when I opened it.

This soap does help deter mosquitoes just a good soap for your hair and body year round.
The oils in this soap are good on my skin and they make my hair shine. I even think this soap is helping my hair to grow back a bit and faster? The soap has a nice scent and it is decent for light mosquito areas. You will need stronger or more protection for heavy mosquito areas. My two sons play Baseball and we all use the soap every day to keep the oils and scent on us. Downsides are: Oh how I wish they did not put poppyseeds in the bars, I don’t like when soaps put sands or other hard abrasives in the bars. It makes a mess and can clog drains over time. I also wish they added a bit of menthol/mint and maybe goats milk to smooth it out a bit and give it a nice pastel light green color and I also wish the bars were a bit larger. If they make bars without poppyseeds, I will use this year round except for a few winter months. If I move south, I will buy this bar for my whole body including my hair year round only without the poppyseeds though.

Great soap but doesn't repel bugs
Great soap, smells wonderful and the black seeds in the soap are great for exfoliating….but does not repel bugs or mosquitoes in any way- which was the whole purpose of buying the soap in the first place. I’m only giving it four stars because of how wonderful it is otherwise.

Great soap but doesn’t stop the bugs
I was really surprised at how nice this soap is. I love the exfoliating seeds. It did not however, prevent bug bites any.

Alexa recommend bc I love lemon scent…. Not lemon at allllllll. However, I got it bc the mosquitoes have me itching for two weeks. I’m outside all weekend. Lathering is tea tho.

OMG IT WORKS
This stuff is AWESOME... I walk in the woods to lose weight and I applied the soap before I left home and not one Bug bit me... I am going to order more....

Bugs love me and I was able to enjoy camping in the southern state in June. I took a shower before bed and again mid day. So maybe that helped to keep it active. Blue Moon Elise Ain't Buggin Me Citronella Bar Soap worked for me💪
