I bought a couple of similar diffusers to try recently, including the NEWYID Essential Oil Diffuser and this item. I like both of them for different reasons, so I’ll compare them here a bit. The NEWYID is larger, more aesthetic in visual design, and has more features, including a remote control, timers, and more adjustments to the light and mist levels. So that is all to the good. On the other hand, this model is much more compact, so it’s very appropriate for a desktop, which is where I’m currently using it. It’s pretty quiet, and I like the noise it makes a little better than the other one. It’s a bit more smooth and less buzzy, if that makes sense. It provides just a touch of white noise without being too bothersome. And if you weren’t sitting right next to it, you wouldn’t notice the sound at all. Because it’s black, more of the light comes through the top outlet instead of through the cutouts in the front, and this makes the “flame” illusion a lot more realistic. The shape of the “flame” is more convincing as well, and it’s very visually warm and soothing to look at, although the mist itself is quite cool. And even though there are fewer modes, etc. than the other model, it’s a lot simpler to use, without a lot of buttons or the remote to hunt down and fuss around with. The buttons are much easier to see and understand, too. You get one mist level and two light levels (no timers), and for my purposes that works just fine for me. It runs for a long time (pretty much all day) on one filling, so I have no complaints about that. On the downside, the NEWYID allows for the top plastic bar that covers the lights to be removed while cleaning, while this one does not. That isn’t a huge deal, but being able to remove that bar makes it much easier to clean out the inside. It isn’t really a major problem so far, though. I just use a paper towel to wipe it out after every use. A soft bottle brush would also work very nicely. Also, for some reason when moving this model around, it seems to dribble a bit of water from the underside (even when mostly empty), but only while actually moving it. It doesn’t seem to leak at all otherwise. I just make sure it’s dry after refilling it and putting back on the desk. In general, I’ve been very pleased with this little diffuser. I’ve put oils in it once or twice and it worked well for that too, but I mostly just got it for humidity and for the fun flame effect (see video), and it’s performing wonderfully for that. If you have pets in the home, be cautioned that using some essential oils may harm them, so that’s just something to keep in mind. But otherwise, I think this is a great buy for a very reasonable price, and it’s lovely and useful even without any oils, so feel free to “fire” away!!

This is an amazingly clever product! It's basically a mist-er/humidifier/aroma diffuser for the desktop. What sets it apart is that flame trick. YES, it REALLY does look like flames are coming out of it (think toaster on fire)! But of course, it isn't burning at all! They have made a clever design that blows mist up past a row of very warm-white leds that pulsate slightly. The result is a beautiful tiny fire to enjoy. It'll never keep you warm though, because it is water vapor! But it will fill the room with the aroma of your favorite essential oil though! I only needed a very few drops and the fragrance is strong and lasts a good long time! Looks great, smells great and the flame will never burn you! Amazing.

My wife and I bought this product for our oldest daughter. When I showed my wife the pictures of it, she though it was legitimate fire coming out. I then explained it to her, showed her a couple videos, and then she was completely enamored with it. The product is extremely easy to use. My oldest daughter wanted her room to smell good and we were looking for solutions. This was one of them and it definitely delivered. The look of it means she could have it out on a shelf, making her room look awesome and smell good at the same time. Best part, you could even use the product without the fragrances so it just adds some eye candy to the room. In the end, the product did everything we asked and even more. The smell is great, the look is phenomenal, and its safety features plus ease of use make this a no brainer.

This is a very nice humidifier at night, it sets up a vibe and energy with that "flame" look. The only downside is the power cable. You get a short USB cable, so you need to have an adapter for the outlet. Kind of a cheap move to be honest. I'll find a longer USB cable but figured ppl should know.

I bought three of these, two for Christmas gifts and one for myself. Once I started my own, I was so impressed by it that I sent my mother a video and she liked it so much I gave it to her and bought myself another one...THEN suddenly, we have a Christmas swap - so I bought a fifth one! It's beautiful, I gave them as gifts with a bottle of pine tree scent so they could enjoy it early through the season. I've had mine running all day for a few days, it's hard not to think it's hot and to stay away from the 'flame'.

I purchased the first one that quit working in the first 30 days. They sent me another one. This one quit working after several months, but I don't use it every day either. Maybe 20-30 uses total. Won't buy this one again. I push the button and the light flashes then does nothing. The light feature is working but not the diffuser part. I have tried to wipe off the diffuser disc in case it's coated with oils. The fire look is really cool, but not worth it since they quit working.

This seems to work fine. It is rather small and does not have a regular plug it only has a very short USB cord so you’re limited where to plug-in. If you’re not right next to an outlet you’ll need to rethink where to plug in. A counter top works but if your other outlets are closer to the floor this cord won’t work. Disappointing Update: within first three weeks the lights burned out! Not a great product!

This diffuser works great! It is sooo cute and indeed does look like a flame as the cool mist diffuses over orange lights. It is super quiet, lasts a long time and has auto shut off which is a great safety feature. I love it - I kept it and ordered another one for my son and daughter in law😃

Did not expext to see such a cool flame effect - just blows my mind. The product quality is good and the operation is soundless.

I recently purchased it and have been thoroughly impressed with its design. The quality of the product exceeded my expectations. It is a value for money and highly recommended.

Started using it and after 2 uses it won't turn on!!!!!!! It was leaking from the fan area!!!!! I think that is what caused the issue I want a full refund but no option to return!!!!!! WTF

Its working really well. Its just my first day... but flames.. and fragrance is just amazing
