Correct part. Works as expected. No issues.

We fixed our pool three years ago. This vacuum is worth it's weight in gold. When I opened the pool this year to find that the vacuum wouldn't work I was in panic that would have to buy another one. I called my supplier that installed my equipment and who I purchased this vacuum. His supplier wanted $430 with a 1 year warranty. This was half the price and I bought the 3 year warranty from the third party Amazon provides. My supplier said that the company Dolphin couldn't touch the prices of Amazon and that they were tired of dealing with their warranty claims. What I don't understand is if I spend $200 for this product from Amazon will Dolphin not honor the factory warranty? They are still getting paid or at least a cut from my purchase. So needless to say my 3 year third party warranty would hold up even if it went out tomorrow and I had to wait a year for factory warranty to run out I would just buy another one and get that one replaced as a back up and I'm still not out any money. The root cause of the controller I had was water damage. I was cleaning the concrete around the pool and sprayed water on the back of the unit and it fried the internals of the control module. Totally my fault. Buying just this control module fixed the issue nothing else was damaged. I hung the unit from the house siding to help keep it up and out of the way and off the concrete so that when I'm washing off the decking that it will not get water in it. It obviously gets water during a rain shower but not to the effect of having a direct shot of water going in from the back side of the unit. I take the control module and vacuum in doors during the winter. So if you have a compatible vacuum unit and it's out of warranty I would recommend getting this and not going through the original supplier. Update: 4-12-21 Started another season. The orginal vaccum went out last year so I had to buy a whole new unit. But I know that this control module will work with that vacuum so I'm going to keep it. It worked just fine for the with the old vacuum no issues.

Good product, was exactly what was advertised. I did return only because I bought a new vacuum but this item was better price on Amazon than other companies. Easy to set up

Works great. Love the programming. The only minus is I wish it was more weatherproof so I could leave outside. Don’t leave it out in the rain!

We have an older model Dolphin pool robot that we couldn't get to turn on this Spring. It still cleans really well, so we decided to see if it was the power supply. Plugged it in and voila! Dolph is back in action! It doesn't come with the cord to the robot, but we didn't need that part. Weekly timer works well too, select 1 to have it clean every day, 2 for every other day, 3 for every third day. We have a large pool, so we just leave Dolph in there and have him clean every day. I only have to vacuum by hand once or twice a season!

This lasted one season. I stored it inside for the winter and it did not turn on when I plugged it in in the spring. I tried all the troubleshooting tips Maytronics provided but they did not work. I was told there is only a 6-month warranty. I really like the dolphin vacuum but not at the cost of replacing power supply units at a cost of about $300.
