May not look the same as original but functionality is 100%
Installed on 2011 MB GL450 with Denso 7SEU17C. This part has metal end which replaces the original screen/basket end but the fit is perfect. Vehicle's AC functionality returned to spec cooling and pressures. This could be installed without removing the compressor from the vehicle. Power steering lines had to be removed for installation. I would recommend cleaning compressor corrosion, if present, where part fits into as a precaution to avoid leaks. Excellent product and price.

Workes with ML550
I was seeing high low side and low high side with the failed control valve. This valve did remedy the problem. The work is performed underneath the car. Carefully remove all traces of refrigerant first, crawl underneath and pry off electrical connector then compress snap ring with angled pliers and observe valve flying out of compressor after a few good tugs. There is a lot of greasy stuff in the way, but it is an achievable task. No comment on longevity. This valve with the metal cap as pictured fits but there is a similar valve with a plastic basket around the tip. it did not fit my Denso 7seu17c

Glk 300 fits well
It works perfectly on a 2011 GLK 300. The original didn't have a diode, but this one does, and there are no operational issues.

Fixed my issue with Mercedes compressor - This one has diode - Perfect replacement
It seems like the yellow dot is put on the valves with solenoid. This one has the dot and works perfectly in my ML63. One day after a flat battery the AC quit working suddenly. There were no problems before that. Checked pressures and found no pressure differential 70/70 psi. Checked the ground for the solenoid adn found no issues and good continuity. Replaced the valve and the pressures were back to 20/200 and had good cooling again This solenoid was identical to the original Denso solenoid that I removed. Even when checked electrically there were no difference, so this means that even though the solenoid tests good electrically it may not be able to control the pump pressure, This valve fixed the issue and has been working flawlessly for a couple of months now.
