This is model is light weight and works great.

Don’t buy
Don’t buy this. Worked when received, three months later did not work. Manufacture does not stand behind the 10 year warranty. Have been dealing with them for 21 days and even though they said they would replace the unit, I have not received a new one. Finally after the third call and thirty days I have received a replacement. Hopefully it will work more than three months!

Worth the Price
I was very impressed with the Excalibur food dehydrator. The two zones let me dehydrate different veggies at the same time using different durations and temperatures. The digital display is easy to understand, the trays are durable, and the machine is easy to clean from top to bottom. My only complaint is that this should have come with stainless steel trays for the price instead of plastic.

Where is the 10 Stainless Steel Trays. the manufacture in the review said comes with it.
When I bought the Excalibur the review from the manufacture said that it comes with 10 stainless steel trays, I received it today and was disappointed to see 10 plastic trays. I have not tried this product yet so this is just on the machine expectations that are not as I was expecting according to the review of this product. What is the composition of the trays? Answer: Comes with 10 Stainless Steel Trays. By Patrick M. MANUFACTURER on May 26, 2017 I called the Manufacture today and they said this item does not have Stainless steel trays as of right now. for the cost of this item it should have had them, and they do not make an upgrade either. I would also like to have seen a book with recipes at this price.

Cheap piece of plastic
Not worth the money. You can buy better. Plastic everything. The doors don't even come together. I should have returned it but I thought I could get metal trays. By the time the company responded it was too late to return. Yes, it works but not worth the money.

El mejor DESHIDRATADOR
Brutal!!!! Sin duda, como dicen: el mejor deshidratador del mercado a nivel Casero. Deshidrata muy parejo, silencioso por completo. Logra deshidratar todo y no pierden color los alimentos. Las posibilidades son casi infinitas.

Good Dehydrator
The dehydrator works as it’s supposed to. I bought this one at half price because it was supposed to have some damage on it. When I got was it didn’t have the power cord. Amazon customer service via chat was amazing. Power cord received in 2 days. I love this dehydrator. Cleaning is a breeze. Does what I expect! Louder than I thought but bearable.

Zero Customer Support. Does not work.
Machine turns off within minutes of setting it up. Never even got to use it once. Customer support does not respond.
