THORNE Calcium, Chelated DiCalcium Malate Supplement, 120 Capsules

Throwing it out!!! Contains calcium laurate. It's not just a filler or an innocent additive. It causes histamine overload. Bursts the mast cells full of histamines. As a mast cell liberator it's highly ill-advised for histamine intolerance or mast cell activation syndrome. Like mine...😪 Probably awful for excema, asthma or any allergies.This would be a fine product otherwise. I valued Thorne above many brands and never expected this.😔😔😔

I tried several other calcium supplements over the years without much sign of help. I switched to Thorne several years ago because this supplement was labeled as more absorbable and efficient. And it has been. My blood tests have shown a good level of calcium with the Thorne supplement. I will continue to take them daily.

The calcium citrate was 150 mg per capsule. My doctor said I needed to take 1200 to 1500 mg per day. I was taking 9 capsules a day of the other product. With this product I can take 6 per day spread out into 3 servings 4 hours apart. I experienced no stomach upset using this Thorne calcium.

I was looking for a calcium vitamin and di a lot of research. This one is the best.

Seems high quality. They are recommended through several sites. Though I wonder how different the pills are compared to others. These dont upset my stomach and dont smell or taste funny.

Upsets and causes stomach pain when taken. Have stopped using them. It would be a great supplement for some just not me
