Mad Catz M.M.O.7 Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac

Good mouse, nice on adjustability. I forgot to write this review, but I figure since I have had this mouse since Jan '14, a year and a half would make for a good review. This mouse comes with everything that you will need, just make sure that you update the software and the driver as soon as you install it. This mouse has been put thru the paces from Crysis Warhead to EVE Online Guild Wars 1 & 2, Aion, Tera, Borderlands, Warframe and on and on. It is very easy to program & set up using macros. The only problem that I have experienced was the bottom button on the thumb rest, I really only used that button to change out my pets in Guild Wars 2 but the buttons top came off about a month ago. Not really too much of an issue since I did have a button that was free, so I just reprogrammed it. As for the rest of the buttons, everything is still working very well. I have read some reviews that they were having problems with the drivers, I have experienced this also, but have found that if you disable the default windows mouse driver, you should have no problems. of course every time there is a windows update, you may have to go back in to the mouse panel and re-disable it again. And I cannot stress this enough, when using this mouse, make sure that you keep the driver (do not use the update function in the Windows Mouse Properties Panel) and the software up to date. There is no automatic update for the driver or software, so you need to go to their website (which can be found on the Support tab of the Profile Editor) and select the proper drivers from the drop down menu. Another issue is mouse pads, I have tried several types, and the only type that seems to work other than no mouse pad at all, is the old foam pads that you can get anywhere. The optic is really picky and on smooth surface mouse pads you can surely forget it. It just does not read well on smooth surface. The MMO buttons are quick and clicky, and for using this in GW2 it is the perfect mouse for that game.The single toggle button I have set for main weapon & off hand skills, for my utilities I use the other buttons that surround the toggle. I give this mouse 5 stars cause it just fits well into my small hands, this is the second R.A.T. that I have owned and I enjoy this one much more.

I have been playing various genre of games for more than 2 decades, way before mouse was even invented with MMORPG being my favorite, started with Everquest 1. Now playing Warhammer Online after 3.5years of WOW. I need a mouse that can free up my left hand for movement, which means it has to have multiple buttons on the mouse itself. Previously using Naga (had 2 actually as one died on me after a year). Cyborg MMO7 is by far the better MMO mouse between the two in terms of ergonomics and button location. I shall focus on these points instead of comparing lasers dpi etc, which IMHO very similar in terms of performances per say, as MMORPG doesn't need high dpi anyway. 1. One of my problem with Naga is the mouse is kind of too light. The weights in MMO7 solved this. 2. Naga was the first mouse designed for this gaming genre. The 12 button numpad for thumb was a good move. However, the numpad was quite spreaded out, due to varied in thumb length, some people like myself cannot utilize the pad fully. I only managed to use 6 buttons comfortably, at all times. The design of MMO7 solved this as well! Besides the programmable buttons, there is a 5 direction joystick, also fully customizable! Better, the thumb plate can move and be adjustable, making access of the other thumb buttons easier, to short and longer thumb players! 3. Different people has different palm size, and the way of holding mouse will always be different among individuals. The adjustable/exchangeable palm rest of different sizes is a god sent. And not to mention the pinky rest. Overall, the customizable characteristics of MMO7 shines, making this simple the best gaming mouse around. This mouse is a beauty and I actually found joy dismantling all the parts and put them up together. My wife commented,'you bought a Transformer!'. This is my first Cyborg mouse and I hope it last (the solid built suggested it will). The only problem that I have with this mouse is the software. Don't get me wrong, the customization software is excellent, but somehow I need to reload gaming profile/plug-in of certain game every time I reboot my comp for the which is annoying at times. In contrast to some others, I actually like the orange color. I highly recommend this mouse for any MMORPG players. It rocks!

I received my M.M.O. 7 just 2 weeks ago and all I can say is Awesomeness! Ether for Home Office, Business or Light to High Gamer this is for you.. Yea it is expensive but you will not need another mouse for a good while. All button are configurable to your taste or you download several Profiles from MadCatz and tweak them to your needs. Also a nice piece of Art makes up for discussion. Actually it is so good that I also bought the MOUS 9 (wireless) for Laptop/Tablet.

Elijo esta valoración porque me parece un buen producto, aunque tuviese que cambiar el primero debido a que uno de sus botones no funcionaba bien. La única pega y que no me gustó, es que el segundo ratón que me enviaron, estaba desprecintado, por lo tanto le habían abierto antes, imagino que para comprobar que no tenía fallos. El embajale estaba perfecto(la caja de cartón marron en el que venía), sin abrir, lo que estaba abierto era la caja del producto(la caja del ratón).

Ho comperato questo mouse per fare un regalo a mio figlio molto appassionato di videogiochi per PC. Premetto che anche il costo è fantascientifico (oltre 100€) e sinceramente solo un regalo lo può giustificare almeno dal mio punto di vista; lo consiglierei soltanto a chi realmente sente il bisogno di un oggetto così specialistico. Bisogna mettere in conto un bel pò di tempo per la messa a punto della forma in modo che si adatti bene alla mano: vi sono svariate regolazioni ( anche di peso), 3 dorsi intercambiabili e 3 poggia mignolo. Infine la gestione dei numerosissimi tasti non è proprio immediata, fortunatamente il software di configurazione è anche in italiano ma la documentazione cartacea è ridotta ad un piccolo piegabile. In pratica consente di generare sequenze di tasti da associare ai vari pulsanti in modo da poter fare a meno della tastiera. La connessione a filo non rappresenta poi una gran scomodità visto che si tratta di un dispositivo da utilizzarsi per il gioco (prevalentemente) e quindi non dovrebbe avere necessita di spostarsi troppo dalla postazione, e poi non si hanno problemi di pile scariche proprio sul più bello. Il filo è rifasciato in tessuto molto elegante e sicuramente più duraturo rispetto alla classica plastica. Ovviamente bisogna prenderci bene la mano e quindi occorre una buona dose di pazienza iniziale. Molto bella la confezione, in linea con il prezzo Ricordatevi di installare prima i driver e poi collegare il mouse al computer.

Très bonne sourie pour les mmo. Les réglages sont facile à realiser avec le logiciel qui faut télécharger sur le mat catz Certain bouton sont dur d accès car grande mains mais sinon c est un plaisir à utiliser je la recommande

This is the best gaming/editing mouse on the market at the time of writing. it has a tone of programable buttons and ultra fast DPI, it looks the part and feels nice and weighty. i use it for RPG,FPS and RTS with a bit of photo editing mixed in and i must say its fantastic ignore all the criticisms on its durability if u cant take losing then u shouldnt be playing games, but for gods sakes dont smash your mouse and then blame the fact it isnt made out of super strength steel, ive had the rat 3,5,7 and now the mmo7 and none of them have ever broke/played up and i mean ever. i keep buying them because they are incredibly good and i have lots of different computers hanging around. over all: performance: 10/10. 13 programable buttons and 6400dpi bliss build quality: 10/10. strong and tough plastics all round value for money: 9/10. very good considering it comes with swapable parts and the mouse is absolutely amazing but £80 is still £80
